Name of the Program Conducted: Sanskriti-2024
Relevant Occasion: Inauguration of the cultural meet, competitions like Dance, Singing, Fashion Show,
Drama, Mr. and Ms. Pharma, Fun fair, and Valedictory ceremony were organized by DBCOP for
students.
Date: 30th and 31st January 2024. Venue: DBCOP, Besa, Nagpur.

Objectives:
1. To increase opportunities for social interaction and new relationship development among students.
2. To develop the interpersonal skills of students.
3. To appreciate students for their achievement in different activities.
Beneficiary: Students are the primary beneficiaries of the program.

The Sanskriti-2024 cultural meet, organized by the DBCOP Cultural Cell, was held on the 30th and 31st
of January 2024. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap, Director of
Research and Senior Scientist at CIIMS, Nagpur. Mr Manoj Balpande, Director of Ambe Durga
Education Society, and Dr. (Mrs.) U N Mahajan, Principal Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy. Dr.
Kashyap addressed the gathering, highlighting his work at CIIMS and the importance of education, and
encouraged students to participate in cultural activities. Various competitions such as Dance, Singing,
Fashion Show, Drama, Funfair, Mr. and Ms. Pharma, and more were held, with students showing
enthusiastic participation. Dr. Kashyap emphasized the integration of cultural and sports activities with
academics for holistic growth. The valedictory ceremonies took place on both days. On the first day,
sports competition winners were felicitated, while on the second day, the focus was on academic and
cultural competition winners. The valedictory ceremonies included the felicitation of intercollegiate
winners, Avishkar competition winners, Best Research Project winners, Idea Club competition winners,
Best Outgoing Student, cultural activity winners, and sports activity winners. A total of 275 students
received trophies, medals, gifts, and certificates. The events took place at the DBCOP campus, with
faculty members playing key roles in organizing the successful meet. All Programs were organized in the
college premises of DBCOP, Nagpur. All faculties were engaged with different roles and responsibilities
for making this Sanskriti-2024 cultural meet successful.
Outcome (Feedback Analysis): Students interpersonal skills were developed.
