Connecting Exigo C200 and Exigo H400
This instruction describes how to print out analysis results from Exigo C200 on an external
printer via Exigo H400. This makes it possible to print out the analysis results from C200 with
the same layout as analysis results from H400.
Enable C200 Setup on Exigo H400
By default, C200 setup is disabled (and not visible) on H400. To enable C200 setup, perform
following steps.
Exigo H400
zz Log in as Advanced User
(or login as user with Advanced
User access).
zz In the main menu, go to Setup
and then Printer.
zz In the Printer Setup, set
Printer Type to PostScript
compatible and then press
Accept.
zz You will get a message telling
that the printer settings have
been changed. Click OK.
zz Scroll down and set
C200 Printout to Allowed
and then press Accept.
zz Press Save to store the
settings. Now an icon for C200
Setup is visible in the System
Setup menu.
zz Connect a PostScript
compatible printer to a USB
port in H400. Note! Only Post-
Script compatible printers are
supported.

Interconnect Exigo C200 and Exigo H400
There are two alternative ways to connect the two analyzers Exigo C200 and Exigo H400.
A. Using USB cable
B. Using network connection
A. Connect H400 to C200 using USB cable
Connect the USB host connector (rectangular) to the C200 and the USB device connector
(square) to the H400.

Exigo H400
zz In the System Setup menu,
select C200 Setup.
zz Set C200 Printout to
USB-to-USB and then press
Accept. If USB-to-USB is not
visible: Go to C
ommunication
in the System Setup menu
and then Export Target. Set
USB-to-USB to Disabled.
Press Save to store the
settings.
zz Set Parameter names to
UREA or BUN and then press
Accept.
zz Press Save to store the
settings.

zz Go to Setting.
zz In the printer options, select
Outer to set printer type. For
further printer options, please
refer to the main User Manual.
zz Go to Other settings and
select the same parameter
name as you choosed in the
settings on H400, UREA or
BUN.
zz Go to Lis Settings.
zz Check the checkbox Enable
Lis and Upload result after
test.
zz Select By Serial to activate By
serial settings.
zz Press OK to store the settings.
zz Press Save to store the
settings.

B. Connect H400 to C200 using network connection
Wireless network antenna Network cable
zz Connect C200 to wireless network with a wireless network antenna.
zz Connect H400 to the network with a network cable.
Note! H400 can only be connected to the network with network cable.
Wireless network is not supported
Exigo H400
zz In the System Setup menu,
select C200 Setup.
zz Set C200 Printout to N etwork
and then press Accept. If
Network is not visible: Go
to Communication in the
System Setup menu and then
Export Target. Set Network
to D
isabled.
zz Set up the C200 Client Port
by selecting a port that is free
and allowed by your network.
Note the C200 Client Port,
this is used later for the C200
setup.
zz Note the IP v4 (Exigo) address,
this is used later for the C200
setup.
zz Set Parameter names to
UREA or BUN and then press
Accept.
zz Press Save to store the
settings.

zz Go to Setting.
zz In the printer options, select

zz Go to Other settings and
select the same parameter
name as you choosed in the
settings on H400, UREA or
BUN.
zz Go to Lis Settings.
zz Check the checkbox Enable
Lis and Upload result after
test.
zz Select Network to activate
Network settings. Make sure
the settings Server IP (IPv4
(Exigo)) and Server Port 1
(C200 Client Port) matches the
settings for H400.
zz Go to Wifi and turn Wifi ON
and connect to network. Press
OK to store the settings.
zz Press OK to store the settings.
zz Press Save to store the
settings.

Print Out Analysis Results
Exigo C200
zz Go to Sample Data.
zz Find a sample to print in
the list: Go to Query and
search for samples.
zz Select a sample to print in
the list by clicking on it.
zz Go to Data and select
Upload selected result to
send the selected data to
the printer.
zz The data will be printed on
the printer.
Adjusting Header and Footer on Printouts
Header and footer settings can be adjusted in the PDF Setup menu on Exigo H400.
Go to Setup and select Communication and then PDF Setup.
