TATTWAS. CONCEPT
Tattwas are symbols that come from Indian Tantrism and are elements of the Sacred
Geometry of that tradition. Before considering them, let us first see, in broad strokes, what that
branch of esotericism is about which there is very little knowledge that we currently have.
Sacred Geometry studies the connection of matter and energy. Study the proportions,
patterns, systems, codes and symbols that underlie the eternal source of life of matter and spirit; It
is the fingerprint of Creation, it is the genesis of all forms. Its Western branch is an ancient science
inherited by Sumerian, Egyptian and Greek hermetic knowledge.
It is stated that the first association of mathematics with the laws of nature, in scientific
form, was made by the Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who conceived matter as composed of tiny
particles that combined according to the law of proportion and number. . He said that
mathematical proportion and the grouping of matter were what produced geometric shapes and
harmony. Plato, Archimedes, Euclid and other ancient thinkers assigned certain geometric
drawings a symbolic interpretation of natural laws, which has survived to us. In fact, in nature we
find that, as a philosopher very aptly put it: "God geometrizes."
We inhabit a semiotic universe, that is, constructed from meaning processes. We elaborate
these meanings based on codes, structures, languages and symbols. Nature also has its own
language: geometric language. Sacred Geometry is the code that Nature uses to create life, and it
reveals to us the hidden dimensional relationships between all the forms that make up our
sensitive universe, and what is more important, it symbolically reflects the hidden relationships
that exist between Reality and the human being.
Although they come from Hinduism, several Schools or Esoteric Orders that follow the
Western Tradition use Tattwas in their works of Alchemy and Magic. Such is the case of the
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the Ancient Rosicrucian Fraternity and Builders of the
Adytum (BOTA).
In our Kabbalah courses we have worked with various symbols of Sacred Geometry, such
as the Tree of Life, the Hexagram and the Pentagram, because our Causal Body responds above
all to geometric codes. In some Alchemy practices, the Tattwas are used together with Tarot
arcana since there are defined correspondences between them and the letters of the Hebrew
1
alphabet, and of course with the forces that operate in the seven energy centers or chakras.
Tattwa is a Sanskrit noun that means “vibration” and also “beginning.” It is defined as the
central impulse that maintains matter in a certain vibratory state. They are considered the
substances from which the universe is formed.
The Tattwas are not just hypothetical entities nor are they just human names or notions.
They are forces that provide us with our awareness of sight, taste, touch, hearing and smell; From
the Tattwas we formulate our entire perception of the world around us. The Tattwas are real
forces, through whose operation the characteristic forms of physical structure have been produced,
in all the kingdoms of nature. They can be considered as the builders of forms.
We do not perceive anything directly. All we know are the various combinations of
sensations. This does not mean that what we perceive in the world around us is unreal. What we
must understand is that reality is not the same as our sensory perceptions. Our world is a synthesis
of sensations. Sensations are all we know and sensations do not provide an immediate or direct
report of the real world.
Every natural form, of any kingdom, provides those who know how to correctly interpret it
with a key to the sensible nature of that form. The correct interpretation of the true meaning of
natural forms requires an awakening of perceptions higher and more subtle than those of gross
physical sensations. Practices with the Tattwas allow us to see inside things, penetrate the veil of
superficial appearances, that is, they open the path that leads to the perception of Reality. They are
used to awaken the subtle senses, but mainly to learn the art of directing the subtle vibratory
powers, the elements, that enter into the composition of things.
Below are some concepts taken from the book “The Power of the Tattwas” written by JA
Portela:
• Tattwa is vibration, it is the divine consciousness acting on the amorphous ether, the
unique substance, invisible but real, that surrounds everything, that penetrates everything.
Tattwa is the desire of the Supreme Being to create forms, to immerse oneself in the forms,
which makes the ether vibrate in a certain way so that it is air and in another so that it is
fire, with another vibration it creates water and with the slowest generates the earth.
Tattwa is the exact form of ether vibration capable of producing the visible manifestation
of a certain type of energy.
• Tattwas are the powers of the sun. He who knows the science of the Tattwas is capable of
managing nature at will and being the owner and master of his destiny; It possesses the
secret of immortality and alchemical transmutation, which transforms man into a god
2
beyond the limitations imposed by existence in the world of matter, in time and space.
• Any work that is begun will always be influenced by the Tattwa under which the first
action is performed, and will inexorably determine the success or failure of the work.
When the Tattwa vibrates on the earth is when the power of its qualities reaches maximum
strength (necessary for magical works), but to obtain the personal benefits it represents, it
is enough to visualize or contemplate it at any time of the day, which will make you the
mind tunes in to what the Tattwa really is. To accentuate the force of the Tattwa it is
necessary to contemplate it in a painting or visualize it with the mind's eyes.
According to Hindu instructors, Tattwas are modifications of Prana. The primary Tattwa is
the Akasha and from it the others originate; Akasha is considered to be the substance aspect of
Prana, since pure Prana is the Force or Breath of Life. Western alchemists call Akasha the “Fifth
Essence,” which is said to lack touch, taste, color and smell. Akasha is attributed as an element
“ether”.
To have a greater understanding of what Prana, Akasha and “ether” are, I will turn to the
Hebrew Kabbalah and its master symbol, the Tree of Life, a symbolic representation of the
manifested universe, which shows the ten basic states of universal radiant energy. The Tree
emerges from what is behind, the unmanifest, what the wise men have called the “primordial
chaos”, the darkness, the Absolute (when you have the symbol on a color plate that chaos is the
black background).

In Kabbalah we say that the Creator, the Supreme Being, is unknowable and
indefinable, but that we can consider Him as an Infinite and Living Mind that when it
thinks of Itself creates the universe, so that the universe is thought into existence and,
Therefore, the creative act occurs in the Divine Mind.
4
Before Creation there was no Tree of Life because the Divine Mind was still, in complete
rest, but at a given moment that stillness was interrupted by an intentional act of the Creator, the
desire to know Himself, to experience Himself. That intention then mobilized “thought energy”
towards a center of Himself, giving rise to a spiral of energy that began to close in that center and,
when it could not be compressed any further, it gave rise to another spiral in the opposite
direction, which when opened brought Light and Life to the world, and with that Light HE formed
the universe, according to the scheme of the Tree of Life (that Light today is called universal
energy).
That activity in the premises of the Divine Mind is called in Kabbalah “the Veils of the
Absolute”, of which there are three: the first is called “EN”, a name that means “NOTHING”; the
second is ENSOF, “the Infinite”, and the third and last ENSOFOR, “the Limitless Light”. Below
is a graphic representation of Creation, which culminates with the manifestation of the first sphere
of the Tree of Life, Keter, the Crown.
The “veils” are three because creative thought, both of the Divine and human Mind,
consists of three elements or principles: the first is an “idea” that one wishes to experience or
bring into manifestation; The second is a “force” that drives, animates, the idea; and the third is a
“form” with which the idea is clothed. The first principle has been called “consciousness”, the
second “energy” and the third “substance”.
I consider that the energy principle is “the Breath of Life”, which the Hindus called Prana
and that Akasha is the name they assigned to the substance principle. The three principles refer to
5
the mystery of the Holy Trinity, present in all the religions of the world, which in a state of
absolute purity only exist in the Divine Mind, a space that is not space which the ancients called
“ether”.
Ether was a term widely used in ancient esoteric texts, and it was considered the plane of
union between the world of matter and the domain of spirit, a concept that is reflected in its
geometric representation, since the ellipse that illustrates the ether is identical. to the space
generated by the intersection of two spheres of equal diameter, the so-called Picis Vesicle. He was
considered a kind of mediator through which the body and the life-giving force mutually
interpenetrate each other.
With the three principles the Supreme Being created the Light and from now on it will
carry Life in its womb, and the Tree with its spheres shows its ten basic states. In each sphere the
three principles are active but one of them predominates, as follows: the consciousness principle
in spheres 1-6 and 9; the energy principle in spheres 2 – 5 and 7; the substance principle in spheres
3 – 4 and 8. Finally, in sphere 10 the three principles temporally alternate preeminence, giving rise
to the appearance of “matter” when the three principles are in a situation of balance.
It should be noted that modern physics considers the presence of the three principles
when it states that “matter is the form that results when energy is enclosed and repeated within a
pattern conceived by energy itself.”
Because thought is sound, behind all things there is thought and everything also emits
sound; so the Tattwas are acoustic forms, that is, forms generated by sound. Hindus call these
forms “Yantras”, as an example, the yantra of OM is the six-pointed star. For practical purposes
we can say that the form covers the idea, and this is why through the Tattwas we can tune in to the
reality of anything, that is, with the idea that is its cause.
SECOND PART
The basic Tattwas or mothers are five and are the primary energies from whose
combinations the body of the universe results. These five are combined and then create twenty-
five permutations, subtattwas, plus a diagram that incorporates the basic five and is used to
develop concentration. In total we will work with 31 different tattwas cards.

White does not have a musical note, but it is assigned A sharp because this is the note of
violet, a color that in very light tones is sometimes conferred on the Apas tattwa.
AKASHA
From the moment the sun rises, the entire earth begins to vibrate like a tuning fork with
the energies of Akasha. These vibrations produce in the man's spirit the memory of everything left
pending yesterday before sleep. It is related to sound and the creative verb. This vibration
implicitly carries the force of dissolution and carries the idea of space as opposition to matter.
Its vibration lasts 24 minutes from the moment the sun rises. During your regency it is the
ideal time for the spiritual, especially meditation, to reflect on the opportunities available to be
more spiritual and less materialistic. During that time no business should be done.
The secret words that accentuate the power and qualities of Akasha are the pranaba OM,
masculine and feminine, and the mantric syllable is HAM. Its shape is a deep violet blue ellipse,
with a yellow-orange aura, thus the mind will tune in with the ether as an element and awaken in
man the desire for union with the spirit. In deeper work, one can visualize oneself in the center of
a large violet-blue ovoid and perform controlled breaths feeling that with each inhalation we
introduce the qualities of Akasha within.
Akasha corresponds to the archetypal ideas of space and time, to the ether as an element,
7
to sound and hearing as the sense to capture it, with the center of the places, with the Self of the
human personality, it is related to bitter flavors. Its spatial arrangement is Up and its note is A,
normal tone, it is related to bitter flavors.
VAYU
After the 24 minutes of Akasha, the force of the sun in contact with the prana of the
atmosphere and with the substance of matter, makes everything vibrate in a new harmony called
Vayu Tattwa. In Vayu the OM is masculine and his mantra is PAM; During his regency it is a
good time for everything related to the intellectual. Its most important aspect is that it allows you
to control your own mind. Under its influence the learning and teaching of any subject becomes
simple, the word is easier and the verb more fluid. Favorable for travelers and walkers.
Its shape that should be contemplated or visualized is a light blue circle with an orange
border. In higher practices one feels in the center of an enormous blue sphere in which the law of
gravity does not exist or prevail, and then with controlled breathing allow the energy of Vayu to
flood the body, the aura and the mind with all the qualities of the Tattwa.
8
Vayu is an electric (projective) Tattwa, it is related to the air element, with the physical
energy of rotation, with the sense of touch, with the East cardinal point and acidic flavors; Its note
is G Sharp, very high tone.
ROOF TILES
After Vayu's 24 minutes, Tejas's follow. At this time the subtle energies of fire make their
appearance and this produces an increase in vitality and personal energy on earth and in all beings.
Under its rule it is possible to develop a powerful willpower; It is favorable for carrying out
physical activities.
In Texas the OM is masculine and its mantric word is RAM and operates through the
contemplation or visualization of a red triangle with a green border. In higher works, one
visualizes oneself at the center of a gigantic pyramid of pure scarlet-red energy, inhaling its force.
In Texas is the great secret of the domain of the “Kundalini serpent”. Tejas is beneficial
for eyesight and everything related to the eyes. No disputes or hostilities should begin under his
regency, as these will have no end and will be the seed of armed conflicts.
Tejas is an electric (projective) Tattwa, it is related to the fire element, the South
direction, with the physical energy of expansion and spicy flavors; Its note is C, high tone.
APAS
At the end of Tejas' 24 minutes, Apas's begin. Among its qualities is the well-being of
human hearts and during its period it tends to concentrate and attract prosperity, fortune and joy.
Its vibration is good for business and for the search for fortune through gambling, for love affairs
since love travels the world making tenderness bring beings closer. Artistic creation benefits
during his regency.
Its shape is a crescent white polka dot on a black background. In Apas the OM is
feminine and its power word is VAM. Apas is a magnetic tattwa, it is related to 9
the water element, the sense of taste, the cardinal point West, with the physical energy of
contraction, salty flavors; Its note is A Sharp, serious tone. For elevated work, feel the central
point of an immense crescent moon, accompanied by controlled breathing.
PRITHIVI
At the end of the 24 minutes of Apas, those of Prithivi begin, Tattwa that carries the
energy of healing and health. Under its regency it is good to begin cures and treatments, since the
compassionate aspect of the sun bears the imprint of recovery and restoration to sick bodies. The
parties and entertainment that begin during your regency will be joyful, the marriages will be
long-lasting and happy, and all the activities that begin during your time will achieve prosperity
and carry the optimism of things well done. Legal issues and legal processes during Prithivi's
regency will find the right and fair solution. Prithivi brings in its essence wealth, joy and health,
which are necessary goods in material life. During his regency it is a favorable time to carry out
charitable acts and also to ask the protective deities for help in solving difficulties.
Prithivi is a magnetic Tattwa, its shape is a yellow square. In Prithivi the OM is feminine
and its power word is LAM. It is related to the earth element, the North cardinal point, with
cohesion as a force, with the sense of smell and sweet flavors; Its note is E, very serious tone. In
elevated work, feeling in the center of a gigantic yellow cube, accompanied by controlled
breathing.
The physical cards of the Tattwas are numbered according to the order in which they are
generated from the mother, primary Tattwa, and with these numbers they will be identified in the
instructions that will be given for the arrangements of the cards that will be used in meditation
practices. .
The regency of each Tattwa lasts 24 minutes, in the span of 2 hours the five and their
different combinations give the practitioner the possibility of dominating his life. Initiating actions
at opportune times when the Tattwas are favorable is extremely practical; It is also highly positive
to contemplate its sheets because by doing so the practitioner will develop the necessary qualities
to tune in ever more deeply and harmoniously with its energies.
The sequence begins with the pure mother Tattwas, like this: Akasha – Vayu – Tejas –
Apas – Prithivi. At the end of Prithivi's period the sequence repeats itself throughout the day and
night. After the first cycle in each new manifestation the Tattwa that governs the period is subtly

combined with others; The sequence of combinations of subtattwas is shown below, the numbers
in parentheses indicate those assigned to each one in the set of cards delivered in the course:

These 12 hours correspond to the diurnal cycle and the exact same sequence is repeated in the
following 12 hours. During the day the magnetic Tattwas see their influence reduce somewhat and
the same happens during the night with the electric ones. In autumn and winter Apas and Prithivi
have more intensity than Vayu and Tejas, while during spring and summer it is the other way
around. In addition to the 30 mother and subtattwas cards in the game, one is added that includes
them all, which is used for concentration.
Each Tattwa can be worked independently through meditation and contemplation, for
different purposes, both for the awakening of virtues and

PRACTICES WITH THE TATTWAS
Previously it was said that practices with the Tattwas allow us to see the veil of superficial
appearances penetrate, that is, they open the path that leads to the perception of Reality. However,
although the purpose of the practices is well specified, the information has no value if what is
meant by “perception of reality” is not known in advance.
In Kabbalah we say that the universe is thought into existence by the Supreme Being, and
this means that behind every thing and circumstance is the thought of the Creator. In every
thought, whether of God or of the human being, three variables enter, namely: an idea, a force that
drives the idea and a form that externalizes or covers the idea. So, then, we perceive reality when
we grasp the ideas of the Creator, as when we become aware of the meaning and purpose of things
and what happens in our world.
Thought is the product of the mind, and the human being that results from natural
evolution has a mind that is structured based on external, apparent forms, which instead of
revealing, hide reality. To reach the causal idea, it is necessary to lift this limitation, also using
sensory information, but planting in personal memory new forms that coincide with those with
which the Divine Mind covers its ideas in the first step of manifestation. This is where Sacred
Geometry comes in with its mission to refine the senses, in our case with the Tattwas.
The Tattwas are used to awaken the metaphysical senses but also to learn the art of
directing the subtle vibratory powers that enter into the composition of things. Whoever achieves
mastery in the science of tattwas is capable of managing nature at will and becomes the owner and
master of his destiny.
The practices with the Tattwas are carried out during meditation sessions, in which, in
addition to the geometric figures, the pranaba OM is chanted. Everything arises from the OM and
everything returns together with the OM to dissolution in the OM. There are two ways in which
OM can be expressed, since all manifestation is dual. There is an expansive, masculine and
dynamic OM, and a contractive, feminine and static OM.
To sing the male OM it is necessary to first rub the palms of the hands, which will create
an electric current, inhale air and then extend the arms forward with the palms facing out; You
take a breath and intone the OM (pronounced AUM) making your entire body vibrate. To sing the
feminine OM, the forearms are quickly rotated one over the other, which will produce a magnetic
current, the air is inhaled and then the arms are extended forward with the palms facing out; You
take a breath and intone the OM (pronounced AUM) making your entire body vibrate.

THE PRACTICES AND THEIR SEQUENCES
1. Visualize Akasha above your head as a gigantic blue-violet ellipse in the sky, surrounded
by a yellow-orange aura, containing all the stars and bodies; Become receptive to their
vibrations, feeling that they penetrate you and make your aura vibrate. Perform the
movements to intone the male OM and sing OM – Ham; do the movements for the female
OM and sing OM – Ham.
2. Visualize Vayu in front as a gigantic blue sphere with an orange aura, whose rotating
movement is in various directions, as an atom rotates; Become receptive to its vibration,
feeling it interpenetrate you and make your aura vibrate. Perform the movements to intone
the male OM and sing OM – Pam.
3. Visualize Texas on your right as a gigantic scarlet red pyramid, resembling a transparent
ruby, surrounded by a green aura. The energy of the pyramid vibrates upward without
rotating; Become receptive to its vibration, feeling it interpenetrate you and make your
aura vibrate. Perform the movements to intone the male OM and sing OM – Ram.
4. Visualize Apas behind you as a gigantic white crescent, like an immense almost silver
boat, surrounded by a black aura. The energy of the crescent remains static; Become
receptive to its vibration, feeling that it penetrates you and makes your aura vibrate.
Perform the movements to intone the feminine OM and sing OM – Vam.
5. Visualize Prithivi on your left as a gigantic square block made of yellow energy that does
not move and surrounded by a violet aura; Become receptive to its vibration, feeling it
interpenetrate you and make your aura vibrate. Perform the movements to intone the
feminine OM and sing OM – Lam.
If you are going to use the tattwa cards, use those of the mother symbols, numbered like this:
Akasha (1); Vayu (7); Texas (13); Apas (19); Prithivi (25). In each phase, begin looking at the
card for one minute and then close your eyelids and continue with exactly the same procedure
indicated above.

MEDITATION. SECOND STEP.
When there is already a communion between the tattwas and the meditator, one can move
on to this second step. If you are not going to use the tattwas cards, perform the following
procedure:
Then visualize that a smaller, violet-blue ellipse emerges from
the large ellipse, and then the figures of the other tattwas emerge, always seeing them
within the large ellipse: Vayu, Tejas, Apas and Prithivi. Feel the energy of each one.
Then visualize that a smaller, blue sphere emerges from
the large sphere, and then the figures of the other tattwas emerge, always seeing them
within the large sphere: Tejas, Apas, Prithivi and Akasha. Feel the energy of each other
Then
visualize that a smaller, red one emerges from the large pyramid, and that then the figures
of the other tattwas emerge, always seeing them inside the large pyramid: Apas, Prithivi,
Akasha and Vayu. Feel the energy of each other
Then visualize
that a smaller, white crescent emerges from the large crescent, and then the figures of the
other tattwas emerge, always seeing them within the large crescent: Prithivi, Akasha, Vayu
and Tejas. Feel the energy of each one.
5. Visualize Prithivi on your left as a gigantic square block made of yellow energy that does
1

not move and surrounded by a violet aura; Become receptive to its vibration, feeling it
interpenetrate you and make your aura vibrate. Perform the movements to intone the
feminine OM and sing OM – Lam. Then visualize that a smaller, yellow one emerges from
the large square, and then the figures of the other tattwas emerge, always seeing them
within the large square: Akasha, Vayu, Tejas and Apas. Feel the energy of each one.
If you are going to use the tattwas cards, use the ones numbered as follows: Akasha from 1
to 6; Vayu from 7 to 12; Texas from 13 to 18; Apas from 19 to 24; Prithivi from 25 to 30. In each
phase, first contemplate the mother tattwa card for one minute and then close your eyelids and
follow the procedure for chanting the OM accompanied by the corresponding power word. For the
subtattwas, first look at the card for a few seconds and then close your eyelids and visualize the
figure.
MEDITATION. THIRD STEP.
It should be done when the second step has already been practiced long enough so that the
practitioner not only feels that he has mastered them perfectly, but is also aware of the profound
personal changes that its repetitions have produced.
1. Visualize that above you have a huge violet-blue ellipse (Akasha) with a yellow-orange
aura and perform the movements to intone the masculine OM and chant OM – Ham; do
the movements for the female OM and sing OM – Ham. Imagine that that ellipse descends
and completely envelops and covers you. See yourself static within mother Akasha and
when you imagine the other tattwas arising, pronounce your respective mantras preceded
by that of Akasha (Ham): Akasha (Ham – Ham); Vayu (Ham – Pam); Texas (Ham –
Ram); Apas (Ham – Vam); Prithivi (Ham–Lam).
2. Visualize in the East, in front, an immense blue sphere (Vayu) with an orange aura and
perform the movements to intone the masculine OM and sing OM – Pam. Imagine that this
sphere comes towards you and completely envelops and covers you. See yourself in a
static position inside Vayu mother and when imagining that the other tattwas arise,
pronounce your respective mantras preceded by that of Vayu (Pam): Vayu (Pam – Pam);
Texas (Pam –Ram); Apas (Pam – Vam); Prithivi (Pam–Lam); Akasha (Pam–Ham).
3. Visualize on your right an immense red pyramid (Tejas) with a green aura and perform the
movements to intone the masculine OM and sing OM – Ram. Imagine that pyramid
coming towards you and completely enveloping and covering you. See yourself in a static
1

position within mother Tejas and when imagining that the other tattwas arise, pronounce
your respective mantras preceded by that of Tejas (Ram): Tejas (Ram – Ram); Apas (Ram
– Vam); Prithivi (Ram–Lam); Akasha (Ram–Ham); Vayu (Ram – Pam).
4. Visualize that behind you you have an immense white, almost silver crescent (Apas) with a
black aura and perform the movements to intone the feminine OM and sing OM – Vam.
Imagine that the half moon comes towards you and completely envelops and covers you.
See yourself static within Apas mother and when imagining that the other tattwas arise,
pronounce your respective mantras preceded by that of Apas (Vam): Apas (Vam – Vam);
Prithivi (Vam–Lam); Akasha (Vam–Ham); Vayu (Vam – Pam); Texas (Vam – Ram).
5. Visualize that on your left you have a huge yellow square (Prithivi) and perform the
movements to intone the feminine OM and sing OM – Lam. Imagine that the square
comes towards you and completely envelops and covers you. See yourself static within
Prithivi mother and when imagining that the other tattwas arise, pronounce your respective
mantras preceded by that of Prithivi (Lam): Prithivi (Lam – Lam); Akasha (Lam–Ham);
Vayu (Lam – Pam); Tejas (Lam – Ram); Apas (Lam – Vam).
If you are going to use the tattwas cards, use the ones numbered as follows: Akasha from 1 to
6; Vayu from 7 to 12; Texas from 13 to 18; Apas from 19 to 24; Prithivi from 25 to 30. In each
phase, first contemplate the mother tattwa card for one minute and then close your eyelids and
follow the procedure for chanting the OM accompanied by the corresponding power word. For the
subtattwas first contemplate the card for a few seconds, read and pronounce the word of power
written on the card; then close your eyelids and visualize the figure.
• Akasha: Above the head and with the lower end between the eyebrows.
• Vayu: Lower part of the face, from the nostrils to the throat.

For this fourth exercise the mother tattwa must be visualized covering the area indicated
above, and then its subtattwas must be imagined in size at most between 12 and 15 centimeters in
length, and made of pure luminous energy and shining intensely within the mother tattwa. When
visualizing each one, pronounce your word of power.
If the cards are used, first contemplate the mother Tattwa for a minute, read and pronounce
the word of power written on the card, then close your eyelids and locate the figure covering the
area that corresponds to it. For the subtattwas first contemplate the card for a few seconds, read
and pronounce the word of power written on the card; Then close your eyelids and visualize the
figure covering the corresponding area. Always start with the Akasha and end with the Prithivi. To
conclude the exercise, contemplate the card that contains them all (31) for a couple of minutes.
With this exercise we will develop the power of the Tattwas within ourselves and we will
be able to emit them through our hands, eyes or aura, spontaneously and according to the

situations that may occur in life, being able to use them both for healing with the hands, as to
project them from a distance in the solution of problems, in the healing of patients who are far
away and in everything related to our own evolution.
A different Tattwa card should be used for each day, following their numerical order. Each
figure will produce its own peculiar mental reaction; Sometimes there will be some physical
reaction as well, but if this includes pain, discomfort or tension, the practice should be stopped
immediately.
1. Looking at the card, intone the AUM (aaa-uuu-umm) three times, preferably sounding the
note first with a musical instrument. Before each intonation, breathe deeply and slowly. As
you do the intonation, allow the sound to vibrate throughout the body, imagining that a
current of energy, the color of the chosen Tattwa, rises up the spine from the base to the
center of the throat (with the aaa), through the center between the eyebrows (with the uuu)
and finally to the center of the crown (with the umm).
2. Continue to look at the card for five minutes, without staring at it, blinking naturally
without taking your eyes off the design.
3. Close your eyelids and wait for the afterimage to fade. Then bring the drawing of the
Tattwa into your mental field of vision, in its colors, and hold the image for five minutes.
The procedure with the symbol that brings everyone together is identical to that described
above. It should be used before going to bed, letting its intention be to effect a harmonious
synthesis of tattvic energies throughout your body. Intone the AUM on any of the five notes.

FOURTH PART
The combinations of tattwas suitable for healing and activating the chakras depend on the
signs of the zodiac and the planets, as shown in the table below:
The signs of the zodiac govern the following parts of the human body:
• Aries.
Head up to above the eyebrows and the opening of the ears; eyes.
• Taurus.
Ears; neck and throat; thyroid and parathyroid; lower jaw and skull, lower occipital part;
cerebellum, lower brain and medulla oblongata.
• Gemini.
Hands; arms; shoulders; lungs, upper lobes; upper ribs.

2
• Cancer.
Chest; mammary glands; esophagus; stomach; diaphragm; lungs, lower lobes; liver, upper
lobe.
• Leo.
Heart; spinal cord; back; aorta.
• Virgo.
Upper abdominal region; small intestine; large intestine, upper part; pancreas; spleen;
liver, lower lobe.
• Pound.
Kidneys; adrenals; lumbar region of the spine; vasomotor system; skin, as an organ of
elimination.
• Scorpio.
Nose; genito-urinary organs; bladder; urethra; prostate; straight; descending colon.
• Sagittarius.
Hips; femur; spine, region of the coccyx and sacrum; iliac arteries and veins; sciatic
nerves.
• Capricorn.
Knees.
• Aquarium.
Ankles; legs, from the knees to the ankles.
• Pisces.
Feet and their fingers.
The practical use of the Tattwas in healing, in contact with the patient, consists of
visualizing that by extending the two hands, the combination that corresponds to the area of the
body to be treated emerges from them, in a size appropriate to the characteristics and dimensions
of said area. . Then move your hands a few centimeters from the skin, visualizing that by doing so
the Tattwas move, interpenetrating the damaged area, or massage with the same purpose. In
remote treatments, after mentioning the patient's first and last name three times, the combination
that is applied is mentally projected and placed in the area of the body under treatment.
For those who frequently perform the exercise of placing the Tattwas and subtattwas on
the body, when extending their hands for the purpose of healing, the necessary tattvic energies
will emerge from them without it being necessary to perform any visualization. In self-healing

processes it is necessary to visualize the appropriate combination in the affected body location,
maintaining the feeling that the energetic and vital balance will be fully restored.
It is possible that certain ailments affect several areas of the body or the entire organism. In
these cases, work on body systems is required, in this case the Tattwas to project are the
following:
Osseous system: Saturn (2).
Nervous system: Neptune (5).
Circulatory system: Uranus (3).
Muscular system: Mars (14).
Respiratory system: Mercury (26).
The assignments of tattwas to planets are related to the energy centers, chakras, which they
govern. The locations of such energy centers in the etheric body are as follows:
• Saturn. Perineum, between sex and anus.
• Mars. Between the navel and the sex.
• Jupiter. Solar plexus.
• Sun. cardiac plexus.
• Venus. Pharyngeal plexus.
• Moon. Frown
• Mercury. Crown
In the case of wishing to activate the energy of a particular chakra of another person, you
must visualize that the energy of the appropriate combination arises from the hands and is directed
to the place where the chakra is located, except in the case of repeating frequently the practices of
the fourth step in which the strength will spontaneously emerge.
FIFTH PART
To attract the forces of the Tattwas towards oneself, with their qualities and properties, the
following procedure must be carried out:
1. Sit facing the cardinal point that corresponds to the tattwa to be worked on: Vayu (East);
Texas (South); Apas (West); Prithivi (North); Akasha (Above). Say a short prayer or sing

the four names of God in the Hebrew language.
2. Draw a large circle in front of you, with the index and middle fingers of your right hand
extended, clockwise (towards your right), imagining that doing so leaves the circle drawn
in the air in a very bright white color. .
3. Inside the circle, draw the tattwa or combination of tattwas whose force you wish to
extract, tracing it clockwise.
4. Perform the movements for chanting OM: male for Vayu and Tejas; feminine for Apas and
Prithivi, and both for Akasha. Then chant the OM (AUM) followed by the mantric word:
for Vayu say Vayu-Pam; Texas say Texas-Ram; Apas say Apas-Vam; Prithivi say Prithivi-
Lam; for Akasha say Akasha-Ham.
5. Extend your arms forward, inhale strongly and perform the movement of opening an
imaginary curtain with both arms.
6. Use the energy of the tattwa by vibrating your body and aura to achieve the perfect
development of the qualities of the tattwa, as well as to tune in to your element and the
original qualities in nature.
7. At the end of the ritual, close the imaginary curtain doing the movement with both arms
while exhaling the air.
