Instructions for downloading documents from the e-book platform

There are two important new features regarding downloading documents on the e-book
platform. It is about being able to access:

1 .- Chapters and page ranges in image in PDF format and printing.

2 .- Complete documents in Adobe Digital Editions format

Note : With the new reader we have greater clarity in the information on the license
and permissions to use the books.

Let's look at each case in particular.

1.- Chapters and page ranges Image in PDF format and printing.

Let's go to the e-book website (

If we do not have an Adobe Digital Editions account, we must click on the Get Adobe
Digital Editions tab and we must follow the indicated steps:

Now we are going to install the Adobe Digital Editions program on our PC. We say that
we are in Spain:

On the next screen we click on the option Download Digital Edition 4.0.3 Windows

 Note 1 . If we have a Macintosh computer we must download the option

Note 2: If version 4.0.3 of Adobe Digital Editions does not work well for us, we will
have to download a previous version.

In the bar above we can do different actions on the document (go to library, bookmarks,
go to the table of contents...):

On the other hand, to return the document we must click on the document we want to
return and then the right mouse button:

Finally, we want to clarify three fundamental questions:

• I have already borrowed a book from Adobe Digital Editions, can it be

renewed? No, we will have to return to the ebrary/e-book platform to be able to
download the book again for an additional fourteen days.

• Does the Adobe Digital Editions platform work offline, without an internet
connection? Yes, that's right, while you can read the books from the same
platform as long as you are connected to the Internet, once the book is
downloaded to Adobe Digital Editions , it can be viewed offline for 14 days.

• App for iOS and Android: use the BlueFire application for iOS and Android that
allows offline reading of e-books
