V The first thing we must take into account for the theology of Christian
stewardship is to clearly outline and understand the objectives of the Church in
the world. In order not to make mistakes in the design of the church's objectives,

and for that we have to go to the source of Christ's thought, which is the Holy
Bible.
V Jesus' ideal for his Church interprets God's eternal, and therefore
immutable, purpose for the church.
Ideals of Jesus for his Church
- 1. REDEEMER COMMUNITY:
Redemption for a lost world, your supreme task as the body of Christ is
to be a channel and testimony of redemption (Jn 20:21).
• Missions: The heart of the Bible is missions. World missionary responsibility was
transferred from Israel to the Church, because Israel refused its messianic privilege.
Missions are the church's loving response to the call of Calvary.
• Worship: (Rom. 12:1), is not limited to a temple, but encompasses our entire being, it is the
love of God that attracts us to worship him.
• Charity – service: the poor need to be evangelized, it is the best work we can do for them
without forgetting their integral life: (food, clothing, health, etc.) We must have the grace of
generosity.

BASIS OF
STEWARDSHIP
“CHRISTIAN”
Understanding the holiness of God will lead the Christian to seek to be holy in all his or
her way of life.
Let us return again to Calvary, because like the holiness of God, his justice is also
revealed there at its highest point. Dio demands justice from man which means
obedience to his laws. Man transgressed the justice of God. Now he is guilty of eternal
guilt. But God's mercy triumphs over judgment (James. 2:13) then the supreme
legislator descends from his throne of glory and assumes the guilt of the guilty in order
to fulfill his punishment (Isa. 53:4-6).
Christian stewardship is the practice
of justice
a) The Christian is called to participate in the creation of a new man to inhabit a new world
that God creates in Christ.
b) Stewardship of material goods is an indicative meaning of acceptance of the Lordship of
Jesus Christ.
c) Christian stewardship is the recognition of God's sovereignty, not only over the lives of
the saved, but also over the entire universe.
d) Christian stewardship indicates surrender and confidence in the power of the providence
of a sovereign God (2 Cor. 9:8)
e) God is not only the owner of the present, but also of the future.
Poets try to describe the love of God: incomparable, sublime. But there is one place, the
only place where the love of God can be seen without adjectives: CALVARY, on the

decorate the table, but the living Word of a living God, to be read, loved, studied and put into
practice.

God's will.
