If the machine has some small change and no effect operation will no new information.

Carries on the consequence to the machine which creates without authorized disassembling voluntarily to

undertake by the JiaBao.

1、General Instruction of Main Purpose and Structure
1) General Instruction
Thanks for your purchasing of JEWEL Hydraulic Pressure Bale Machine!
Please do follow the instruction when you install, use, repair and maintain the machine
for your safety. Besides, the persons who install, use, repair and maintain the machine should
follow the regulation of national security standard. And only the special-trained persons or our
company’s maintenance staff can repair, maintain the machine.
2) Main Purpose and Feature
(A) Purpose
The machine is used in any none-metal bale field, such as: trash board, box, pieces
paper, cotton yarn, fur ball, plastic, wood, foam rubber, wool, pieces fiber, clothing, cloth,
tobacco leaf and etc. we can change the specifications of the package according to the
customers’ requirements, however, the customers’ requirements should be suitable for the
shipment to the maximum extent to reduce the freight.
(B) Feature
a) Hydraulic drive,Automatic drive structure and electric control system.
b) Collective Buttons, manual or self-automatic operation or manual operation,security
chain device.
c) Independent feed opening, auto package-out device.
d) Single push plate, double-side door, three-side door,four-column style,raffinate recycle
tank is available.
3) Structure
The machine is consisted of main engine, electric control system, hydraulic pressure system,
hydraulic accessories and etc.
(a) Main Engine: machine frame, feeding door, handles, door of compressed barn,
door-closed device, platen,out-bag device.

(b) Electric Control System: All switches, contact device,stroke switch, fusing device and
etc.
(c) Hydraulic Pressure System: Hydraulic pressure stop, oil tank, pressure gage, tank gauge,
oil box, motor, oil pump, oil pipe and etc.
(d) Hydraulic Accessories: joints, oil pipe folder, sealing ring and etc.

2、Operation and Notices


(1) Preparation
Operator should understand fully the hydraulic and electric principles and the functions of
machine.
1) Inspection
(a) Check wirings in the control box, logo, graph of machine principle, limit and control
board switches, motor, electric wirings and elements.
(b) Check hydraulic pressure valves, adapter,oil pump, oil box, pressure gage,tank gauge,
oil tank, oil box, piston lever platen.
(c) Check machine frame, crossbeam,platen.
If there are any problems after Inspection, please do repair or ask for help from our company.

a、When the oil pump starts to work, chamber P and T are connected, thus oil is unloaded
from oil pump to oil box. The piston rod still, and act as a security role.
b、When the motor changes to the left to power on, P and A are connected, T and B are
connected, the oil is in the main tank,while piston lever is out. (Pressing)
c、When the motor changes to the right to power on, P and B are connected, T and A are
connected,the oil is out the main tank,piston lever is in . (Back)
3) Installation
(a) Machine body: It is the integration of machine body. However, it is required as the following;
ground should bear at least 15KN/m² pressure. Once the machine is installed, it should not
be moved any more. The room should at least 500MM higher than the machine.
Notice:
⚫ The machine could be moved by forklift truck or hoist.
⚫ When people hoist the machine, do not touch the oil tank and oil pipe.
(b) Fill in hydraulic pressure oil: The oil tank is already clear and clean when leave
factory .Please fill in Hydraulic Pressure oil directly. The oil tank should be cleared and
dried after a period of use, and fill in the No. L-HM46 filtered anti-friction oil. If cleans
time the discovery has the fuel tank to burst, the oil leak should inform the factory to seek

processing. If no problem .please fill enough 46# hydraulic oil. Oil should be at least feature
80 in the tank gauge, the amount of oil is about 90 L. When the temperature is lower than 0
centigrade, please choose antifreezing oil, and screw down oil mouth.
You can choose according to the following form of the hydraulic oil:

(c) 接电器控制箱进线 Wires of electric control box : Three phase four line and earth wire.
!!Notice: The earth wire should be in the electric control box.
4)Adjustment
We have done the entire shakedown tests before the machine is delivered.
Please do the simple shakedown tests after installation by yourselves as the followings:
(a) Power on and start the motor, and check the motor whether run as clockwise direction. If
not, please adjust two of the wires.
(b) Listen carefully to check whether there is noise of motor and pump, if yes, please power
off to check.
(c) Try empty load first, start “Compressing” or“Back” button, and the “self-auto”. Pressure
should be 10Mpa.
(d) After trying empty load, checking whether there is leaking of the joints and sealing.
(e) If there is no problem of the test, it finishes.
5)Notice of buttons:

a) Power light: Power on, light on.


b) Start motor: Motor on, light on.
c) Rotating Switches:
◆ Manual: “Compressing” or “Back”, platen up and down.
◆ Packaging: Press the “Press” button, the platen will down to the bottom.

◆ Semi-auto: Press the “Start” button, the machine will run by itself(run a cycle).
d) Stop: This button self-locked button. Press this button, the machine (motor) can stop at any
time. If you want to operate the machine, should revolve this switch, after press the start
button, the machine can work.
(2) Operation
➢ Compressing:
(1) Lock firmly the compressing device of the compressing barn. Turn the “rotating switch” to
“self-auto”.
(2) Preparation laid a piece of paper at the bottom of the compressing barn.
(3) Use stick to push in the filling materials. Avoid uneven material loading to the chamber.
(4) Close and lock firmly the guide door of feed opening.
(5) Start “Compressing” button, the machine does an auto recycle(compressing - back)
(6) Repeat the above (3) (4) (5) to make the pressure back to the original.
(7) When near the finish of compressing, turn the “rotating switch” to “package”
(8) Lay a piece of paper on the top of package.
(9) Start “compressing” button until platen touch the travel switch to stop.
Notice: Don't try to excessive packaging, the machine you are strongly recommended in this
machine of the rating of the pack, especially not in the specifications by artificial regulation
system work pressure make it more than system rated pressure, the way to increase the weight of
each package content, otherwise will may cause permanent damage and even endanger machine
operator's life safety.
Notice: There are no people standing before the opening door!!
➢ Package:
(1) People should stand at the un-opening door to loosen the locked devices.
(2) Open the compressing barn door. Pierce the belts to pack.
(3) Open the compressing barn door,and hang the pothook in platen.
(4) Start “BACK” button till the package is out the compressing barn.
(5) Take out the package
(6) Lock the compressing barn door and other locking devices and then put down the out-bag
device.
(7) Turn the “rotating switch” to “self-auto”.
(8) Start “compressing” to fill in new material
The above process as shown in the figure below:

➢ Clean the piercing groove:


After a period use the piercing groove, please clean it.

3、System Adjustment,Set-up and Notices


It is set up according to your requirements before delivery. However, please check due to the
long-distance delivery.
➢ Set up “Traveling” switch (See Pic:)

➢ Set up the pressure of hydraulic system.

Pressure adjustment hand-wheel is on the flowing valve of the hydraulic system.


To right is to give more pressure, to left is less.
NOTICE:
⚫ Nothing should be laid on the top of hydraulic system.
⚫ Adjust slightly the hand-wheel when needed, fasten the screw after adjustment.
⚫ The working pressure cannot surpass the system fixed working pressure。Otherwise will
possibly create the machine permanent damage even to endanger the operator the safety.

The pressure has already been set up before delivery. And the following is how to adjust it
when you first use.
(1) Pack and wrap the bag as chapter 2. Turn the hand-wheel to min to max gradually.
Notice: The screw nut should be loosen before adjustment and fasten after it.
(2) Add up pressure gradually.
(3) Push out the bag, and weigh measure it.
(4) Adjust again according to the following table. (If the bag is not satisfying, try again)

(5) Record the pressure and the position of traveling switch. Adjustment finishes.

4、Maintenance and Notices


Accurate maintenance could prolong machine’s usage.
NOTICE:In the process of repair and maintenance:
(1) Must Cut off power.
(2) If the machine connects the power don’t make maintenance and repair.
Maintenance
➢ Daily maintenance
(1) Check oil position, traveling switch, security chain device before start.
(2) Inspection the oil temperature when use the machine (normal don’t over 65 degree), whether
leak oil and hydraulic force. Inspection the cylinder whether normal .it find problem stop and
inspection.

(3) Clean the piercing groove.


➢ Monthly maintenance
(1) Check wires, oil pipe, joints, oil tank, and hydraulic stop.
(2) Check and fasten all joints, screws. (for example: each tube fittings, pressure plate bolt, piston
bolt).
(3) Check and clean and eliminate work around environment of safety factors, such as the
operation area of obstacles in etc.
(4) Check the oil height, no less than 0.
(5) Clean and cream all locking devices.
(6) Check all the functions of security chain devices.

➢ Quarterly maintenance
(1) Check the function of all the buttons on the control board.
(2) Check the oil cylinder and piston lever, whether there are leaks and not normal wear, scratch.
➢ Yearly maintenance
(1) Replace hydraulic oil, clean fuel tank, and remove the oil from the bad for sediment; Check
the filter for jam.
(2) Check and cream the motor bearings.
(3) Check the inside of electric control box and hydraulic stop.
(4) Adjust pressure gage.
(5) If the machine will stop the surge for a long time, please hand all relax, prevent spring
produce permanent deformation and the elements performance.
➢ Pump maintenance:
⚫ start :
A、 Check oil level in tank, please the oil when the oil not enough.
B、 The pump inlet and outlet valves should be fully open
C、 Check the rotational direction of the pump is correct or not.
D、 Pump or couplings in normal operation without shaking vibration phenomena
⚫ notice:
1、 During used ,Strictly forbid due to system heating then open fuel tank cap or open filling hole
to prevent dust and dirt from entering the fuel tank
2、 The pump for the first time to use or not use more than fifteen days. Please fill clearing oil
from filling hole. And first jogging several times when just start. Check the oil flow and noise
all normal then empty running 5-10 min and can continue working.

3、 Working medium: recommend used 46# hydraulic oil .if used other oil please check
E50=3-5,and the glue must over 90.
4、 The oil temperature normal working 15-65OC.normal working 50±0C is ideal .KV
is27~43mm2/S .the oil working under the normal temperature working. And ensure that its
kinematic viscosity at not less than 650C when 27mm2/S. and not over 43mm2/S when 150C.
Cold start oil KV vacuum should not be greater than the self-absorption 0.016MPa. The oil

cleanliness should be controlled within NAA10 level (or 19/16), cleanliness will significantly
affect pump life
5、 Check the cleanliness of the oil and check the oil filter is blocking or not regularly, exchange
it if necessary.
6、 Clean the oil filter regularly, and check the filter screen is good or not. if not, please do not
continue using.
7、 Check the hydraulic oil regularly, please exchange the oil and clean the oil box if there are
impurity, sediment, water or mental in the oil.
8、 If you find the bearing is too hot, shack abnormally, noisy or the spindle nose leaking oil,
please check the installation of the coupler

⚫ Common fault and solution of the pump:


Notice:
(1) Use soft brush and industry standard cleaning agent to wash filter.
(2) The oil tank should be cleaned and changed after 3-month use. And the half a year or a year
after.
(3) In winter, the motor could start 20-30min and then to work.
(4) When adjustment pressure do not have to outdo the machine the highest working pressure.
And avoid mangle machine and endanger operator safety.
(5) Don’t adjust electric control system and demolish hydraulic element.
(6) Do change the high pressure pipe if the oil leaks.

5、Regulation of Security 0peration


(1) Do not put the head, hand or person under the platen.
(2) Limit switch damage or not to install limit switch, forbidden oil cylinder piston rod
pressure to will the bottom.
(3) Use sticks to pus the materials.
(4) Do not stand under the platen.
(5) Do not change the route of the electric box.
(6) Do not open the electric box when power on.
(7) The slider flange constructed to regularly check installation bolt (the longest in a check
once), prevent off.
(8) If there is leakage of oil tank, piston lever or pipe, these should be stopped to use, and
inform the maintenance staff.
(9) Do not wash the electric control part, hydraulic pressure system by water.
(10) To prevent the metallic dust and liquid enter the electrical controls.
