INTRODUCTION
This reflective report aims to critically analyze my journey in making an
assignment project it is website. We use wix.com to make the website to ease our
project. Wix.com is a popular website builder that offers a range of benefits for
individuals and businesses looking to create their online presence such as
user-friendly interface, wide selection of template, customization option and etc.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
My role as a member of group responsible to explore the website interface to ease
editing. I am signup to the wix.com and make an account business to propose our
product to the world in various channel. I’m choosing the home page as my part to
edit in the website.

This is front page theme and picture that i choose to show to the customer. Front
page, also known as the homepage, plays a crucial role in e-commerce websites. It
serves as the first point of contact for visitors and potential customers, and it offers
several benefits in terms of driving conversions and creating a positive user
experience. The front page is the first thing visitors see when they land on your
website. It provides an opportunity to make a strong first impression and grab their
attention. A visually appealing and well-organized front page can immediately
convey your brand's professionalism, credibility, and uniqueness, enticing visitors
to explore further.

In front page also i put the offer to ease customer see when there are entering. The
front page is an ideal location to showcase promotions, discounts, and special
offers. By prominently featuring such incentives on the front page, you can capture
visitors' attention, encourage them to explore further, and potentially drive sales.
Highlighting limited-time offers or new arrivals can create a sense of urgency and
encourage immediate action. The front page also allows you to highlight your
best-selling or featured products. By showcasing high-quality images, compelling
descriptions, and customer reviews, you can entice visitors to explore individual
product pages and make purchases. Strategic placement of product categories or a
product carousel can further improve discoverability.

Figure 3 shows the welcome to our page and contact us. I also put this two thing to
make customer feel cheer with our welcome to them and make them easier to reach
us in this website.

In creating website, there have an issue that related it is platform selection. There
have many website builder that we can choose to make our website but still we
choose Wix as our platform because of the benefit in the Wix itself. Wix.com offers
a vast collection of visually appealing and responsive templates across various
industries and website types. Users can choose from different designs and layouts,
providing a starting point that can be customized to suit their brand or personal
style. With Wix.com, users have extensive customization options to tailor their
websites to their specific needs. They can modify the design elements, fonts, colors,
and layouts to create a unique and personalized website that reflects their brand
identity. Wix.com provides built-in SEO features and tools to optimize websites for
search engines. Users can customize meta tags, URLs, alt text, and other elements
to improve their website's visibility and rankings in search engine results, making it
easier for potential visitors to find their site. Many benefit that wix provide to us
and it become a first choice for us to build the website on this platform.
PROJECT LEARNING
What have i learn in this project is how to make a creative website. As you know,
before we create, we need to sketch the idea first. I look into canva template to
make a sketch. Canva provide various of template that beautiful and creative to
show in the sketch before make a real website.
I also learn to make a website from youtube. You know if you explore by yourself,
it will waste your time. Because of that, im watching the videos from the youtube
to make me ease to decorate or anything to do in the website.
Other than that wix also collaborate with stripe.com. As we know Stripe.com is a
popular payment processing platform that offers several benefits for businesses
looking to accept online payments. When im trying to make the payment of the
product, they lead me to the stripe website to signup with them. This is because of
wix try to ease their user to make a payment method.
Last but not least, im learning how to publish my first website. From the
e-commerce subject (itc2223), i can build website for real life and not just for the
learning class. As a student, i need a money to make my life ease and not
complicated while studying, i also can decrease burden of my parent.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, i can handle the platform vey well. Building your own e-commerce
platform allows you to have complete control over the design, functionality, and
user experience. You can tailor the platform to align with your brand identity,
business requirements, and specific industry needs. Customization enables you to
differentiate your online store and create a unique and personalized shopping
experience for your customers. With a self-built e-commerce platform, you have
the flexibility to scale your business as it grows. You can adapt and expand your
platform's capabilities to accommodate increasing product catalogs, higher traffic
volumes, and additional features or integrations. This scalability ensures that your
e-commerce platform can support your business growth without limitations. Other
than that, you retain ownership and control over all aspects of your online store.
You have full control over the data, customer information, and the overall
management of your platform. This level of control allows you to implement
changes, updates, and optimizations as needed without relying on third-party
providers or facing limitations imposed by pre-built platforms.
