The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning,
installing, customizing, operating, managing and administering, and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the
needs of an organization.
PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION The BSIT program prepares graduates to address various user needs involving the selection, development, application, integration and management of computing
technologies within an organization.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program of La Union Colleges of Science and Technology, Inc envision its students as equipped “information

PROGRAM MISSION The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program of La Union Colleges of Science and Technology, Inc. prepares students for successful careers as I.T.
professionals to make a positive contribution to society.

As mandated by the Vision-Mission of Information Technology Education Program, the institutional goals were set as guidelines and standards of students to
achieve holistic development prescribed by the Vision – Mission of the Institution. The goals of the ITE program accommodate the requirement needed by Icons
each student in order to flourish in the Information Technology Industry.

1. Convey technical understanding of the theories and concepts of information technology through various outcome based educational experiences to
contribute to the dynamic evolution of information technology. PG1
