TRAINING PROPOSAL

I. Background

With the issuance of DepEd Order No. 058, s.2020 ACR, Orientation for
Regional and Schools Division offices on Mental Health and Psychosocial support
services in the time of Covid-19 for learners and Deped Personnel, the Adoption of
the Basic Education learning Continuity plan for School Year 2020-2021 considering
the COVID-19 pandemic public health emergency. As such, Deped Order No. 14,
s.2020 (Guidelines on the Required Health Standards in Basic Education Offices and
Schools) details the provision of mental health and psychosocial support services
(MHPSS) to increase the mental resilience of learners and DepEd personnel.
The Tagulod National High School will conduct a symposium for High School Student
together with the participants of Teachers, relative to the implementation of the
Mental Health Program, our school is conducting a Forum on Equipping Students
on Basic Mental Health Management Program. The objective of this activity is to
Raise personal awareness on mental health in every students’ and School
Personnel.

II. Objectives:

1. To raise personal awareness on mental health


2. To enhance the learner’s knowledge on the effect of teenage problems
concerning Mental Health.
3. To equip young students with basic response to anxiety and depression
4. To increase learning efficiencies thru mental health management

III. Participants

Learners Grade 7-12
