Task 2. ; WORLD WAR TWO REPORT

Students are to choose an event discussed in class from the 2nd half of World War Two ( ie 1943-,
1945 ). These events need to be significant to the final outcome of the war. For each event outline
the following :

 What was the event


 When, why and where did it occur (use a map)
 Who was involved
 What was the outcome
 Why do you believe it is significant
 Give your opinion on an alternate decision / action about this event

Also provide other supporting information such as pictures, maps, photographs, tables, diagrams,
etc to support your report.

Show me a draft of report early, prior to submission.

Include a list of 3 references minimum used.

Length of written work 800 -1000 words

Possible topics;

 Battle of Kokoda
 D-Day Landings
 Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
 The capture of Berlin
 Battle of Leyte Gulf
 Battle of Okinawa
