POWERING UP

YOUR IMAGINATION
“The shortest distance between here and there, between have
and have not, is always through imagination.”

— The Universe

I hope you enjoyed mapping out your future in the last worksheet.

Some people actually find it hard to do this because they aren’t used to using their imagination in this way. If you’re one
of those people, don’t worry! Imagination is something that can be developed—and in this worksheet, I’m going give you
some quick, fun imagination exercises.

But first, let me get into a bit more about why imagination is important as you’re playing the Matrix.

In 2017, I co-wrote a book called From Deep Space with Love with channel, Tracy Farquhar, that gave readers a chance to
listen in on a fascinating conversation I had with Frank, a collective of eight super-advanced beings that make up part of
Tracy’s spiritual family.

It was an amazing experience. At one point, I said to Frank, “Please tell us about the powers and purpose of imagination.”

This was his response:

There is a great deal to be said for the process of imagining and visualizing in advance of actually performing or
creating that which is desired. The imagination is a rich and fertile ground for creating that which you wish to
see in your sense of material reality, and it is the breeding ground for all conscious acts of creation.

The word imagination is a vague and ephemeral term referring not to a specific part of the brain or a material
element of the body, but to a certain type of sense; it is a sense of anticipation and expectation made real in
the mind and psyche of the individual. This sense of that which has not yet materialized in the physical world
can be a positive, high-vibrational scenario or it can be a scenario that causes a low-vibrational effect that you
term worry. It is worry that causes a great deal of stress and anxiety, and it is important to note that worry is
simply the act of imagining something going wrong.

With any use of the imagination, there is a mental, emotional, and physical reaction to that which is being
imagined; it is very similar, if not identical, to the reaction that would occur if the things being imagined took
place in the physical world, and it is this reaction, or response to the mental stimuli, that can cause feelings
of excitement, dread, fear, or joy. These reactions are dictated solely by the mental images that one conjures
up, but the energy surrounding the responses has a far-reaching effect, causing an energetic response that
triggers a sense of expectation in the energy field and an attraction of like energy. And so, while the scenario
being created in the energetic field of imagination may not precipitate exactly the same scenario in the ma-
terial world, the energy of what is attracted will be very similar and will match the frequency of the vibration
of the imagination.

1
It is exactly the same process as if you were creating some material thing with your hands and eyes,
which would be:

1) Imagine what it is that you wish to create.

This may take the form of a sketch or drawing, a blueprint, a description, or a computer-generated image
that is the first level of the manifestation of that which has been imagined.

2) Take the necessary steps to fashion the imagined object out of some type of physical material in the
three-dimensional space.

Similarly, an awakened being uses imagination as the first step toward manifestation.

It is important to understand that it is the emotional frequency of an imagined object that leads the artist into
an understanding of the following steps needed to create a physical manifestation of the imagined object.

As such, it is this frequency of imagination that dictates manifestation; whether it be a physical object, an
event, a circumstance, a relationship, or the outcome of some event. The highest frequency of imagination will
cause feelings of anticipation, joy, and excitement. This frequency will be translated into some form of material
space within the energy field of the individual, and it will then find those things that match that frequency and
draw them into that energetic field. This is the nature of all manifestations in the physical world, and they all
begin within the energetic space of the imagination.

There is much to be said for frequent daydreaming, deliberate and conscious visualizing, and even imagination
that occurs in the dream state, as they all contain the frequency needed to create. And so we would like to
emphasize that exercising one’s imagination is one of the best ways to ensure that you are using your free will
to create those things that you desire, rather than those things that you wish to avoid. It is quite simply an act
of choosing what you wish to see in your life and focusing the enormous power of your imagination on that
frequency, rather than on the frequency of that which you wish to eliminate, avoid, or release from your life.

As with any other sense, this sense of imagination needs to be used, experimented with, and controlled so that
it is deliberately focused on desire, on an intuitive knowing, and on creating a sense of fulfillment and happiness
in one’s life. Those who spend a lot of time within their imagination, such as artists, writers, musicians, and actors
will find that creative process to be not only vital to their lives but also essential to their well-being. Artists will
testify that there is much beauty that comes out of challenge, and much expression that comes out of emo-
tional trauma. This is not to say that happy people cannot create, but that those who are able to manipulate the
frequency of crisis through the imagination can find that much beauty can be found within it.

The imagination is one of your greatest sources of personal power, and we encourage you to work with it, utilize
it, and create not only the material aspects of your life but the nonmaterial experiences, the sense of self, and
the conditions that allow you to express the greatest gift of yourself to the world.

That was a long read, but I hope it helped you see why powering up your imagination is such an important thing!

And now for some fun! Choose one of the following and do it before our next lesson, or, if you’re feeling it, do more than
one. Experimenting and playing with imagination can be the first step in mastering it.

2
Option 1: Play! Kids are masters of imagination; my daughter reminds me of this every day! Who else can look at a floor
and be completely convinced that it’s covered in hot lava? Take 30 minutes to let down your guard and play like an adult
kid. Maybe imagine that you’ve just received a phone call from Oprah Winfrey… how would you feel, what would you
do next, who would you call? Or, imagine that your crush just called and hinted that you two should visit somewhere
extraordinary, like Paris! Or, that you just finished a masterpiece (work of art, book, business plan) and you’re so thrilled
you can taste the happy tears running down your face. Feel that joy and elation! Consider who you’ll share it with first,
personally and professionally. Imagine the project being warmly received by the world…

Option 2: Let Your Mind Wonder. Note here that I say “wonder,” not “wander.” This is a fun imagination-building
exercise that I learned from master teacher and friend Sonia Choquette, another best-selling author published by Hay
House. Sonia recommends that people take time to let their mind just go in whatever direction it can take them, no
matter how absurd or unexpected. You can just “let it wonder” on its own, or you might kick it off by wondering how
birds know which way to fly dozens of times a day, how they choose where to land or when to join or part from a flock.
Or, what it would be like to have a healing touch or the Midas touch. Or, why humor instantly creates a bond between
people. Or, how incredibly similar people are in so many little and big ways. Wonder… Wonder… Wonder. By allowing
your mind to freely wonder, you allow it to become more adventurous, more limitless and more creative. You permit
yourself to think in a brand-new way.

Option 3: Watch a Fantasy Movie. Fantasy movies or books are great because they let you experience someone else’s
imagination in action, in the extreme. Dragons? Orcs? Talking animals? There are all sorts of things that you’ve likely
never thought about that have been created with abandon in the minds of others, which will remind you of how free-
wheeling our imaginations can be. I’d recommend choosing this option only if don’t regularly indulge in fantasy stories,
because our goal with this exercise is to do something out of the ordinary to make you change how you think.

Option 4: Make Up Life Stories. For this option, which you might do with a friend, I recommend you go to a place with
a lot of people—a restaurant, a mall, a park. Simply go and do some people watching, and as you’re watching them, make
up some stories. Do you see a couple laughing, or pointing, or hugging? Playfully imagine what’s made them interact this
way. Maybe they’re on a first date. Maybe they’ve been together for decades. Maybe they’re talking about a moving to
a faraway country. Maybe one of them told the other they’re actually from another planet! It doesn’t matter what you
come up with, but “write” their story, or narrate it with a friend.

Option 5: DIY Imagination. I’ve given you a few exercises to choose from, but you don’t have to do one of these. You
can make up your own! This, in itself, is an imagination exercise, so you’re getting two for the price of one. Whatever
exercise you make up, just make sure it pushes you outside of your regular thinking limits.

Imagination is such a powerful yet simple part of creating a full life—and the better you are at imagining your dreamed
of future, the more often you can deliberately use this tool to spark exciting life changes.
