INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
The epoxy resin is supplied as a set together
with the brush (length approx. 40 cm) and a
pair of latex gloves. You can use the resin at
temperatures of 5 °C upwards.
Preparation work:
Please clean the surface and dry it carefully by
heating up. Smooth surfaces should be treated
with an sandpaper (corn size 60 or rougher) be-
fore cleaning them.
Application:
Mix the accelerator in the tin with the liquid
plastic and stir carefully. The potlife is 90
minutes at an ambient temperature of 20 °C.
Apply the coating with the brush. Take care
that the surface is completely painted. The
thickness of one layer should be approx. 0.25
mm. If necessary you can apply up to three
layers.
Full-hardening:
The ambient temperature must be min. 5 °C.
Below this temperature the hardening process
will NOT start. At 20 °C the hardening pro-
cess takes approx. 12 hours. By increasing the
temperature up to maximum 70 °C you can
shorten the process by 20%. Do NOT use open
flames as this is dangerous and could burn the
coating.
Working Security:
Please use safety glasses and safety gloves
when working with the epoxy resin. No open
flames are allowed. If the ventilation is insuf-
ficient please use breathing equipment.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
KB Sealer is supplied as a set consisting of
one tin containing a priming undercoat and a
second tin containing a special finishing coat,
each with a volume of 0.33 litres.
Preparation:
The surface to be coated must be cleaned
and dried thoroughly using surface pre-hea-
ting. Smooth surfaces should be roughened
beforehand with emery cloth, 60 grit or coarser.
The grinding dust must be removed afterwards.
Application:
The system can be used at ambient tempera-
tures ranging from +5°C to +30°C. The contents
of the container must be stirred well before
use, then applied to the surface with a brush,
covering evenly. After application of the primer
and a flash-off time of approx. 1 hour at room
temperature, the coating can be applied. The
layer thickness of the special finishing paint is
about 0.1 mm per coat – up to three layers may
be applied, as required.
Drying:
At an ambient temperature of 20°C, a drying
time of at least 12 hours is required before the
seal is installed. Higher temperatures accele-
rate the drying time (up to max. 50°C).
Occupational safety:
When working with the product, safety glasses
with side protection and protective gloves
are to be worn. Closed working clothes are
recommended. Keep away from sources of
ignition. In case of insufficient ventilation, use
suitable respiratory equipment.
