Do I need to be a resident to purchase a lot?
• The government and Dominican law actively promote foreign investment and offer equal
  treatment between nationals and foreigners, securing them the same legal protection,
  without any discrimination. Additionally, it offers permanent residency status to foreigners
  who invest over 200,000 USD in local businesses or local financial instruments.
What taxes do I have to pay if I purchase a lot?
• Real Estate transfers tax is 3% on the value of the property. Also, Real Estate Property Tax is
  an annual tax of 1% that is applied on the total amount of taxed real estate that individuals
  have registered.
What legal support and documentation do I get to confirm the sale?
• Ownership of property is documented in the Dominican Republic by “Certificates of Title”.
• Each of our lots have their individual Certificates of Title and Cadastral Plan.
• We support with the Real Estate Transfer for your property.
