AKTIVITI 1. Murid diterangkan tentang aktiviti yang bakal dijalankan.
2. Murid diminta meniru pelbagai ton suara manusia.
3. Murid dibimbing oleh guru meniru suara manusia bercakap, memanggil, berbisik,
bernyanyi, ton suara lelaki dan ton suara perempuan. Aktiviti dijalankan secara kelas.
4. Murid dibahagikan kepada 6 kumpulan kecil dan setiap kumpulan perlu meniru ton
suara manusia seperti suara bercakap, berbisik, memanggil, menyanyi, suara lelaki dan
suara perempuan.
5. Kemudian murid menjalankan aktiviti permainan kecil seperti, 6 stesen disediakan
dalam kelas, murid dalam kumpulan akan beratur untuk melalui stesen tersebut dan
perlu meniru suara manusia yang diwakili setiap stesen. Kumpulan yang menjalankan
aktiviti dengan sempurna akan diberikan ganjaran.

Circle Time / Class activity
Pupils are given a description of the activities to be carried out.
1. Encounter activity 1: (Refer to SOW) AN EXCITING BEGINNING:
STEPS :
Create an exciting context for the introduction of a topic,e.g. you could bring a picture
which represents the topic or a special box or bag, with the topic target language inside ( as
flashcards or realia) or maybe the puppet has discovered something new and wants to
share it with the children.
Create suspense as you introduce the topic and ask the children what they already know.
This can be in the first language (L1)if necessary. Make connections to previous learning.
Show each visual, one at a time. Say the word clearly.e.g. “sunny”. Also introduce it in a
sentence “ It’s sunny ” have children repeat after teacher.
Talk a little about the visuals to provide more language exposure, eg. Is it a hot or cold? Is it
big or small?
Make a gesture or mime to represent a new words.
After that replace with another picture and do the same.
After all the picture out, lets children listen to the sound and give them a chances to
identify the sound.eg. sound of cat and children have to say its a Sunny!SUNNY!SUNNY!

2. Encounter activity 2: (Refer to SOW) LISTEN AND DO
Steps:
Announce the game. Eg: Lets play Listen and do!
Teacher say a new words such as sunny, rainy, windy.
Pupils have to make a body gesture or mime to represent the words.
Put pupils around the room in small groups, allocate one of target words to each group.
Place visual nearby to help them remember.
Have the pupils listen for their word and mime when they hear it.
Teacher as a leader, can call out several words such as: It’s Sunny and hot. So the group
which is a sunny group have to stand up and make a gesture or mime to represent that
words and follow by other groups.

Pupils are given a description of the activities to be carried out.
1. Remembering activity 1: (Refer to SOW) WHO CAN REMEMBER HOW TO
MIME?:
STEPS :
Teacher shows a sunny flashcard.
As if children remember the gesture or mime to represent that words.
If they cannot remember, teacher show again and say the words clearly. Its SUNNY!
Ask children to follow and say the words clearly. Repeat for threetimes. Then show the
sunny flashcard again and ask children to mime or show the gesture to represent that
words.
Repeat an activity with other flashcard until all the words finish. When all visual have been
introduced, count them together, eg: six words! Lets see some more.
Introduced a few more words related to the topic.
2. Encounter activity 3: (Refer to SOW) STOP!
Steps:
Announce the game. Eg: Lets play STOP!
Teacher sound out the target words in sentences, eg: It’s sunny today.
Have the children mime in response.
Call out “STOP!” for the children freeze into a statue.
Praise children who manage to freeze, eg:”Good statue! If a child moves, ask them to sit
out for a round, eg;Oh dear, you moved! Sit down a bit!
A child who is out can call “STOP! They also can help to seewho moved.
