VISION / MISSION*
The MetriCorr remote monitoring system for corrosion and cathodic protection on buried pipelines covers the complete range of measurements needed to document standard compliance.
Supervise your CP system through the Web-based CP*Manage suite. Your T/R remote monitors and test station RMU’s will keep a constant eye on the state of your rectifiers, the proper electrical
isolation conditions of your pipeline, the polarized potential profile, the corrosion threats such as AC or DC interference corrosion, as well as the condition of the coating.
Initiate a survey campaign by remotely enabling GPS synchronized ON/OFF switching of the rectifiers while your MetriCorr tests stations are establishing the ON/OFF potentials along the pipeline,
the line current (hence the coating condition) in sections of the pipeline, the well-functioning of isolation joints and critical bonds as well as the proper isolation of casings etc.
Generate a full survey report by the click of the mouse in terms of chainage graphs of polarized potentials, identifications of corrosion risks, coating condition and electrical isolation.
* A complete benefit of the MetriCorr remote monitoring system depends on well-defined electrical isolation and cathodic protection sources as well as implemented line current test stations.

VL-100 Voltage Logging Module MetriCorr
The MetriCorr VL-100 is a test station for remote monitoring and data logging which is used for DC ON potential readings, polarized OFF
potential readings, AC voltage readings, for monitoring of critical bond currents across a shunt resistor, and for documentation of isolating
couple effectiveness and isolation between pipe and casings.
Alike the rest of the MetriCorr Slimline product family, the VL-100 is intended as a remote monitoring unit (RMU), a data logging device, or
simply as a spot reading device. It may be operated through the MetriCorr CP*Manage Web or through the MetriCorr iOS/Android App. Data is
sent to the CP*Manage Web for easy reporting and analyzing or uploaded through the MetriCorr App and e-mailed to be processed by Excel
(or similar) according to specific user needs.
The GPS time-synchronization and designed measurement cycle ensures the possibility of getting “ON” readings as well as “instant OFF”
readings synchronized with rectifier switch-off. User defined delay after switch-off is offered within the range of 10ms to 1s.

ER Probes MetriCorr
FEATURES ER Probes are required when using MetriCorr ICL/ICL-C modules to determine corrosion rates and measure electrical fingerprints.
Probe sensitivity
Corrosion rate – Highest The probe simulates a coating defect. Measuring the electrical resistance of the exposed coupon element and a shielded reference element provides the probe thickness by use of
resolution allowing for simple mathematical algorithms.
corrosion diagnostics
Simultaneous logging of corrosion rate and electrical fingerprints allows for effective analysis of e.g. interference conditions. Measurement of all parameters, (corrosion rate, AC/DC
Coupon measurements – AC/DC potentials, AC/DC current densities and spread resistance) on the same metal surface ensures that all interacting chemical and electrochemical reactions are part of the analysis.
current densities, polarized
potentials, spread resistance ER probes can be used to analyze corrosion in a wide range of environments, and various probe designs and housing materials ensures that the probes are fit for purpose and will
continue to provide valuable corrosion and CP information to the operator throughout its life-time.
Embedded certificate data – No
paperwork necessary The latest version of MetriCorr ERv2 probes have embedded memory in the plugs, containing a digital certificate. This will automatically be read by the Slimline ICL or ICL-C from
MetriCorr upon connecting the probe and the units are ready to measure.
