This Diode Block Unit has one Seriers diode in the +ve & ve supply line in the unit. This isolates both +ve & -ve Power
Supply lines with the other power supplies.

To create power supply redundancy through these units the output of each of power supply is connected at the input
of each of these Diode Block Unit with right ploarity & output from these units are connected in parallel i.e +ve
terminal to +ve terminal & -ve terminal to -ve terminal at the output of each Diode Block Unit.

PI. Note: One Diode Block Unit is required for each one of the power supplies. There are two types of diode block
available screw type connector & Detachable type connector.

The OR-ING unit combines two or more power sources to create
redundant power source preserving the output power supply in case
one of the input sources fails. In this situation of input power failure,
the next power supply feeds the power quickly to prevent the system
bus voltage from failing and bus collapse. The power supply failure
signal is given by relay N/C contact
