RE: Itinerary for Educational Excursion to Hyderabad, Current Grades 10, 11 & 12.
We are delighted to share the itinerary with you for the upcoming heritage excursion to
Hyderabad, a city celebrated for its melding of rich history, vibrant culture, and cutting-edge
technology. Your child has opted to participate in this excursion with your consent. Kindly take
note of the following details:

Accommodation: Students will be accommodated on a quad-sharing basis at

Itinerary:
Tuesday, 28th May
Assemble at NWS at 05:30 AM. Travel to H NIZAMUDDIN Railway Station using school
transport. Board the train YPR SAMPARK KRT (12650) at 08:20 AM.
Wednesday, 29th May
Arrive at KACHEGUDA Railway Station at 08:20 AM, Upon arrival, check in to the Hotel. After breakfast, the
students will begin their excursion with a visit to Charminar, one of Hyderabad's most iconic landmarks,
followed by exploring the vibrant Laad Bazaar, known for its traditional bazaars and unique Hyderabadi
pearls. Afterward, they will visit the Salar Jung Museum, which houses one of the largest one-man
collections of antiques in the world. The day will conclude with an evening at Hussain Sagar Lake, where
students can enjoy the scenic beauty of Lumbini Park, visit the famous Buddha statue, and watch a
spectacular laser show.
Thursday, 30th May
The day begins with a relaxation and meditation session at Kanha Shanti Vanam, followed by a visit to the
National Remote Sensing Centre (ISRO). Afterwards, we'll tour the historic Golconda Fort, known for its
advanced acoustics and grand architecture. This will be followed by a visit to the B.M. Birla Planetarium &
Science Museum, which offers a blend of science and astronomy education. In the afternoon, students will
explore the fascinating Sudha Cars Museum, featuring handmade and quirky cars. The day concludes with
a visit to the Statue of Equality, celebrating universal equality, where they can also enjoy a mesmerizing
laser show.
Friday, 31st May
The entire day is dedicated to Ramoji Film City, one of the largest and most comprehensive film studios in
the world. Students will get a chance to see film sets, participate in fun activities and games, and learn
about the filmmaking process in a fun-filled environment.
Saturday, 01st June
Return journey carrying memories of the educational and enjoyable experiences.
Board the train TELANGANA EXP (12723) from Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station at 06:00 AM.
Sunday, 02nd June
We will arrive at H NIZAMUDDIN at 07:15 AM. Transport from the station to NWS will be provided using
school transport. The dispersal at NWS will be at around 08:45 AM. You will be kept informed of the
exact time of arrival.
Please take note of the following instructions:
● If your child has any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or a relevant medical history, please
disclose this information using the provided consent form. However, please note that no
medications should be administered to your child or brought to the trip without first informing the
teacher.
● Students must wear House T-Shirts for the journey on 28th May 2024.
● Students must keep appropriate clothing for the trip.
● Students must travel light as they will be responsible for carrying their luggage. Carrying a
backpack is advisable. They should also carry their School Almanac and a pen to write their daily
travel journal.
● Please attach two tags to your child's luggage, mentioning their name, contact number, and
address.
● Items strictly NOT to be carried include mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, iPod/mp3
players, electronic games, or any other valuable articles.
● Students may carry a maximum amount of Rs 1000/- to purchase souvenirs.
● We have included a list of teachers accompanying the group along with their contact information
in case of any concerns. The accompanying teacher will allow your child to communicate with you
once in the evening after the day's activities.
● We will also add parents to a WhatsApp group for updates on the trip. However, we request
parents not to ask for their child's photographs/updates in the group, as the group in-charges will
be sending updates from time to time.
