◦ Authors may submit abstracts for oral presentations or poster sessions for the 23rd World Congress for
Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WCBIP).
◦ Abstract must be submitted online at https://www.wcbip.org/abstracts no later than July 1, 2024.
◦ Authors must be registered to attend the event.
◦ As they submit an abstract, authors have to be aware that they must register to the congress if they have
an abstract accepted, and be onsite in case of oral presentation.
◦ Topics
◦ Abstracts must be in the areas of interventional pulmonology, laryngology, pleural diseases,
tracheobronchology, thoracic surgery, and/or esophagology.

Evaluation
◦ Abstract submissions will be reviewed by the Abstracts Review Committee for acceptance.
◦ Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent to authors by email no later than August 1, 2024.

Publication
◦ Accepted abstracts will be published in the scientific and online programs of the 23rd World Congress for
Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WCBIP).
◦ Accepted abstracts will be published on USB sticks for congress attendees, and in the "Publications"

The Heinrich Becker Young Investigator Awards for Research and Clinical Innovation
◦ Awards will be presented to 3 registered participants whose abstracts suggest a significant contribution
through research or clinically innovative techniques to the fields of bronchology and interventional
pulmonology.
◦ To be eligible for this award, the first author and/or principal investigator must be age 40 or younger.
◦ Eligible participants may apply for the awards by clicking YES on the appropriate checkbox on the
submission form.

Length, style, and formatting

◦ Abstracts should have a clear hypothesis and methodology, list all author names and institutions, and
designate a corresponding author.

◦ Abstracts should be written in a structured format and include: Title, Authors names, Authors affiliations,
Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
◦ Case reports are also acceptable and should be identified as such on the submission form. Case reports
should be structured as follows: Title, Authors names, Authors affiliations, Background, Case report, and

Originality and linguistic accuracy

• Abstracts must contain original data, be free of plagiarism, and be written and submitted in English.
• The linguistic accuracy of the abstract is the responsibility of the authors.

Disclosure of funding source(s)

• Abstracts must provide the funding source (industry name, grant name, or other applicable funding) if one
exists.
• Commercial names, trade names and company brands should not be mentioned in the abstract title; however,
they may be mentioned in the body of text.
• Abstracts containing elements that might lead to patient identification shall be disqualified.

Oral Presentation
• Oral presentations are 10 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.
• Powerpoint presentations may be used. The presenter must provide the presentation moderator your
Powerpoint files on a USB memory stick in advance.

Poster Presentation
• Text, figures, and images may be included.
• Posters will be presented in e-poster.

Copyrights
• Authors are required to write an original abstract that fulfills accepted criteria for copyright purposes.
• By submitting an abstract, all authors attest that the abstract submitted has not been previously published
elsewhere and transfers, assigns, or otherwise conveys all copyright ownership, including any and all rights

 Ketentuan
1. Peserta lomba fotograpi adalah anggota PPDS atau PDPI yang terdaftar
sebagai peserta Kongres Nasional PDPI 2024.
2. Tema perlombaan: “Culture and Society Approach in Lung Health”.
3. Setiap peserta dapat mengirim maksimal 3 (tiga) foto.
4. Foto merupakan hasil karya sendiri, belum pernah diikutkan dalam
perlombaan apapun sebelumnya.
5. Dapat menggunakan media DLSR Camera, mobile phone, mirrorless atau
drone.
6. Pengeditan digital tidak diperbolehkan, seperti menambah dan
mengurangi objek, kecuali peningkatan kualitas (sharpening, cropping,
color balance, contrast & brightness, dan color saturation), dalam ekstensi
.JPG (akan dievaluasi kembali).
7. Gambar tidak boleh mengandung unsur non-fotografi seperti signatures,
frames, watermarks, pornografi, dan SARA.
8. Ukuran maksimum foto adalah 25 MB dengan resolusi 300 dpi.
9. Teknik fotografi digunakan secara bebas, foto bisa landscape, hitam
putih/berwarna, streetphotography, foto jurnalisme.
10. Foto sesuai tema, "Culture and Society Approach in Lung Health“, berupa
human interest photography yang menonjolkan sisi orang / profesi /

Ketentuan Lomba
1. Peserta lomba senam asma adalah anggota PPDS atau PDPI yang
terdaftar sebagai peserta Kongres Nasional PDPI 2024.
2. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 10 orang.
3. Peserta wajib mengenakan seragam senam asma sesuai peraturan
Yayasan Asthma Indonesia.
4. Gerakan senam asma yang diperbolehkan hanya yang sesuai dengan
ketentuan Yayasan Asma Indonesia Pusat.
5. Peserta diperbolehkan penggabungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan.
6. Formasi senam bebas dengan menjaga jarak dan tidak saling
menghalangi antar peserta.

2. Ekspresi artistik-penampilan (ekspresi peserta, kekompakan
