Social profile link validation

This task is to validate the social profile links for local businesses. You should validate the links with
the following steps to check the quality of the social profile links’ page. We described the steps to
complete the validation task. Cause you may met different cases during complete the task, we also
provide several examples to help you understand how should you deal with it at the end of the page.
You’d better go through the page carefully, to ensure you could complete the task smoothly.

In total we have 2 questions, but they are not all available according to your answers. You should
answer all of the questions shown and submit your answers.

1. Confirm the local business’ information. There is a `Business info` section listed in the task page
which gives the business name, address, business website link.
Note: If you are unfamiliar with the business name, then you should click on the business
website link to learn more about it before next step. If the business website is blank, you could
search the business name at Bing search to understand the business content.

2. Right click on the Social profile link and open the page in a new tab. Besides, the “social profile
provider name” just means the source type of Social profile link.

Note: If the social profile provider type is Facebook, you may need to login to your facebook
account to judge the task smoothly.

3. Go to the page and verify the link is valid and shows exactly the same business as what we have
above. Verify both the name and address of the business.
Note: In some cases, it is difficult to judge whether the addresses are the same. You could use
map tool to help you know if the addresses are the same.
4. The following is the whole 4 questions which needs to be answered. After answering one
question, the next question will be displayed according to your choice, or a submit button will
be displayed.
Note: You’d better open the Social profile link firstly, you could see a new page in a new tab. If
the page shows you do not have permission to access the Social profile link page, which means
that you cannot answer all the questions below, please click Skip button to skip this HIT and
start the next HIT.

5. Steps and detailed explanation:

5.1) Answer the 1st question.
Note:
1)Please ensure the accuracy of your answer, otherwise, the system will ban maliciously
submitted illegal operations.
Note:
o In general, you need to judge whether the name and address both are the same.
o In some cases, although we could not find Address, as the names match, we could still
consider they are the same.
o If the social profile link is about facebook, you may need to login your facebook account
to judge the task smoothly.

e.g.,
a. If the Url link is not valid (404), choose ` The page is not available (shows page
error rather than you don't have permission to access the page, for example the
below picture). `

b. If the business from the link doesn’t match with the one shown above in the business
info, choose ` No, url link website doesn't match the business`
c. If the business matches with the one shown in the business info, choose ` Yes, it's the
same.`

Note: If you met the below shows (“Page is not working”, ”Redirected you too many times”),
the case is not belongs to the option named ` The page is not available`, you cannot
choose any options. You should fix this issue firstly or skip this HIT directly.
 If you select ` Yes, it's the same.`, you will see the 2nd question. If select other two options, you
can submit directly.

5.2) Answer the 2nd question.

Go through the Social profile link page and see if you can check the Posts tab(e.g., below picture
colored in Yellow) on this social media account. What you need to check is whether these posts
are business related or not.

e.g.,
a. If the posts are always show the business related (for example: business hours picture,
festival events information, product pictures or introduction, etc), you should choose `
Yes, the posts are exactly what I would want to read if I was interested in visiting this
place. `
b. If the posts are completely irrelevant to the business (for example: business is a coffee
shop, but the posts are Selfie photos, mountain climbing, make up and other personal
 hobbies, people cannot get any information about “coffee shop” related), choose ` No,
the owner only puts personal information on the page. `
c. If the posts are usually irrelevant to the business, but we could get some information
which business related, choose ` Kind of, the owner talks about things he is interested
in but not always things pertinent to someone interested in visiting the business. `

For example, the post circled in red shows the account Posts are business related.

6. Submit and Skip operation.
