Company Overview:

Cashify stands as India’s foremost device life cycle management (Re-Commerce) enterprise.
Our operations entail the procurement of used devices from consumers (C2B) and
collaborations with OEMs and retail partners (B2B2C). Subsequently, these devices undergo
meticulous testing, grading, and refurbishment, preparing them for their second life. Our
preloved devices are then retailed through Cashify’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel,
Cashify Smartbuy, which operates via an E-Store and 200 retail outlets.

Role Description:

Position: Entrepreneur in Residence, Corporate Strategy


Reports to: VP - Corporate Strategy
Salary: Approximately 20 Lakhs per annum
Ideal Experience: Prior consulting, investment banking or strategy stint in a high growth
startup.

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual for the role of General
Manager, Corporate Strategy & Brand Partnerships. This position will be pivotal in our
corporate strategy function, delving into challenges spanning all verticals of the company.
At its core, this role demands a blend of strategic acumen, keen observation, and adept
problem-solving to foster exponential growth.

Key stakeholders encompass Mobile, laptop, and other OEMs such as Apple, Samsung, One
Plus, Google, Dell, HP etc. , as well as financial partners like Bajaj Finserv, Pine Labs and
others.

Responsibilities include spearheading initiatives such as Assured Buyback Programs,


Pre-Owned Device Programs, and various other projects aimed at consolidating Cashify’s
position in the re-commerce market.

Key Responsibilities:

● Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align
with company goals and market opportunities.
● Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs,
market trends, and competitive landscape.
● Product Development: Collaborate with Business, Product and design teams to
define product features, functionality, and user experience.
● Communication: Cultivate and maintain a strong reputation through consistent,
transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
● Project Management: Oversee strategic and growth initiatives.
● Research & Presentation: Conduct market, funding, and sales-related research, along
with analysis, documentation, and presentation.
● Financial Analysis: Perform financial and valuation analysis, including financial
modeling.
● Content Creation: Develop business proposals and pitch decks.
● Partner Relations: Formulate and execute a robust partner acquisition and retention
strategy and framework.
● Product Performance: Monitor product performance metrics, analyze user feedback,
and iterate on product improvements to drive user engagement and satisfaction.
● Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap
to internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

● You possess strong first principle thinking and can structure open-ended complex
problems really well - prior consulting, investment banking or strategy stint in a high
growth startup would be a plus.
● Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
● Strong research abilities.
● Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and presentation tools such as Keynote.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Interest in working in a startup environment and contributing to its growth.
● Ability to dissect complex problems and strike a balance between the big picture
and tactical activities.
● Strong analytical skills with experience in consulting, investment banking, or strategy
in a high-growth startup being advantageous.
