I. Propose project: Improvement of Parking Shed and Stairway to Admin


Building

II. Project Overview:

This proposal aims to upgrade the parking shed in front of the conference hall and
improve the stairway leading to the admin building. The project is initiated by PSSLC
2024-02 “KABSAT”, which focuses on enhancing functionality, aesthetics, and safety
while seamlessly connecting the conference hall with the Admin building.

III. Scope of Work:

Parking Shed Improvement

• Design: Revamp the parking shed to provide better coverage and protection against
elements.
• Materials: Utilize durable and weather-resistant materials for longevity and reduced
maintenance.
• Lighting: Install adequate lighting for enhanced visibility and security during
nighttime.
• Signage: Implement clear signage for easy navigation to the conference hall and
other facilities.

Stairway Enhancement
• Safety features: Add handrails and non-slip treads for enhanced user safety.
• Aesthetics: Modern design that complements surrounding architecture.
• Landscaping: Incorporate landscaping elements for enhanced visual appeal.
• Accessibility: Ensure compliance with accessibility standards for individuals with
disabilities.

Integration
• Seamless connection: Establish a smooth transition between parking shed,
stairway, conference hall, and admin building.
• Flow: Optimize layout for improved traffic flow and pedestrian access.
• User experience: Prioritize convenience and comfort in design.

IV: Timeline

The project is anticipated to conclude within 3-4 months from commencement date,
covering designs, constructions, and final inspection phases.

V. Budget

The estimated budget for enhancing parking shed and stairway ranges from
P200,000.00 to P300,000.00, encompassing materials, labor costs, design fees,
permits, and contingencies.
