REFLECTIVE JOURNAL ON SCHOOLM INTERNSHIP:

Day 1: Monday
*Morning Arrival:*
I reached the school at 9:00 AM. The school grounds were alive with the sounds
of students chatting and laughing. The energy was infectious and set a positive
tone for the day.
Assembly
The assembly began at 9:15 AM. The principal welcomed everyone with a brief
speech and highlighted the importance of teamwork. An important notice about
the upcoming parent-teacher meeting was also announced.

*First Period - Grade 7 English:*


My first class was with seventh graders. We discussed the basics of creative
writing. I introduced them to the concept of character development and setting
the scene. The students participated enthusiastically, sharing ideas and crafting
short stories.

*Break Time:*
During the break, I headed to the staff room for a cup of coffee. I chatted with a
few colleagues about weekend plans and upcoming school events. It was a good
chance to bond and learn from their experiences.

*Second Period - Grade 8 History:*


The second class was with the eighth graders, focusing on the American
Revolution. We discussed the causes and key events, and I showed them some
historical documents. The students were very engaged, asking many insightful
questions.

*Fun of the Day:*


During my free period, I walked around the playground. The students were
playing various games, and it was heartwarming to see them having so much fun.
A group of students invited me to join their game of dodgeball, and I couldn't
resist. It was a blast and a great way to connect with them outside the classroom.

The school day ended at 3:00 PM. I stayed back until 4:00 PM to prepare for the
next day's lessons. Leaving the school, I felt a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction
from a productive day.

### Day 2: Tuesday

*Morning Arrival:*
I reached school at 9:00 AM again, feeling more confident and familiar with the
routine.

*Assembly:*
The assembly at 9:15 AM included a presentation by the student council about
their new recycling initiative. The principal also reminded everyone about the
importance of punctuality.

In today's English class, we continued with creative writing, focusing on plot
development. The students were excited to build on their stories from the previous
day.

I spent the break in the library, exploring some educational resources and chatting
with the librarian about how to integrate more library time into my classes.

Today's history lesson covered the Declaration of Independence. We analyzed
excerpts from the document, and students discussed its significance in small
groups. Their insights were impressive, showing a deep understanding of the

During my free period, I was invited by a group of students to watch their

My school internship experience was incredibly rewarding and insightful. Each


day brought new challenges and opportunities to connect with students and refine
my teaching skills. From engaging classroom activities to memorable interactions
during breaks, I gained a deeper understanding of both the academic and social
aspects of teaching. The support from colleagues and the enthusiasm of the
students made the internship an invaluable step in my journey as an educator.
