1) The system operates from start to finish with minimal need for parameter
changes or operator intervention. The system contains respective operating
parameters. The operator interface shall allow the operator to set the
intended spray rates, drum speed, inlet, bed and outlet temperature all of
which can easily be calibrated.
2) The coating pan should allow control of the following parameters: pan
speed, coating distribution, spray droplet size, spray and flow rates, drying air
flow rate and temperature as well product exhaust temperature.
1) SS 316 semi ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for charging &
discharging of tablets Pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the
horizontal.
2) The coating pan must have effective baffles to allow proper mixing of bulk
tablets during coating . The pan must be fitted with a RETRACTABLE ARM
FOR SPRAY ASSEMBLY which is an angle adjustable device for spray/dosing
header.
Consists of a suitable HP 3 Phase, 440 V, and 1440-RPM Standard motor with
suitable worm reduction gearbox and cone pulley arrangement to give three-
speed output.
Non-pressurized solution feed vessel of 50 ltrs capacity in Stainless steel 316
Quality with stainless steel top lid and pneumatically operated Agitator
mounted on lid (Oscillating type).
The pan must be fitted with 2 Nos. Spray gun with stand, 15 Cfm for the
following functions:
1) Coating suspension
2) Operating air
3) Atomizing air
Peristaltic Pump 2 Head for product dosing with suitable tubing (Food grade
silicon rubber).
Pump rate to be commensurate to the spray rate.
The unit is provided with a hot air blower consisting of suitable HP 3 Phase
440 V, 2880-RPM Standard Make electric motor & centrifugal blower with
damper delivering required CFM. The air is heated by means of suitable
electric heater(Provision For Steam Heating) to give air at 30 to 90 degrees

1) The coating pan must be fitted with both primary and secondary filters
with a lifespan of at least one year for both inlet air and exhaust. The in-line
heaters for raising temperature from 30 to 90 degrees Celsius must be placed
between the primary and secondary filters for the inlet air.
2) A dedicated AHU installed. The AHU to have primary, secondary and HEPA
filters. Each filter bank to have electronic differential transmitters and
monitored through the push button control panel, and the transmitter for
the HEPA filter to be interlocked to machine and thus stopping the machine
in case the pressure differentials exceeds the action limit.
Unit provided with suitable control panel with starters and push button to
actuate the drive and for blower The circuits consists of MCCBs, relays and
contractors in series Ample overload protection is provided by the MCCB
and the relay Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for easy
recognition
The motor and gearbox is mounted inside sturdy MS frame and the pan
mounted on the Gearing housing fitted in the stand. Blower mounted inside
the Structure frame.
The materials of construction should be inert and compatible with a wide
range of materials and cleaning agents. 316 stainless steel (mirror polish) if
required for the pan and product contact surfaces. Non-metallic product
contact surfaces such as silicone tubes should be certified non-toxic food
grade material and the manufacturer must specify materials of construction.-

The product is to be filled inside the pan. During the rotation motion,
coating material is sprayed by spraying system according to the technological
process and rational technological process. So process materials (product)
are coated due to rotating pan. The coating round pot is rotated main drive
unit. At the same time hot air is supplied through inbuilt Hot air blower
system which dries rapidly (heating or cooling) and evenly thus forming a
solid and smooth surface.
