7 Description of the The BWG is a registered women group for the purpose of doing
target participants entrepreneurship activities in the ward area. The group has a total of 10
members currently. BWG engages in food selling business (Mama lishe) in
(trainees) Majengo street area, hall decoration and pot making and selling.

8 Description of the A training need assessment (TNA) conducted along Bora Women Group
training need (BWG) business areas shown that BWG business centers encounter outbreak
(problem) (state the of eruption diseases such as cholera, small pox and coughing in their
problem as a result business centres. The facilitator gathered TNA data using non-participatory
of a training needs observation and informal discussions with BWG members. It was noted
assessment (TNA) through TNA that, BWG members lack proper awareness and practices
regarding causative sources of such diseases in their business centers and
preventive measures to be taken collectively. Based on these observation, the
facilitator in collaboration with BWG partners proposes a capacity building
seminar for BWG members on improving understanding of diseases
causative sources and preparing of diseases preventive measures to create a
safe and secure work place conditions for healthy business environment.
