Sample of General Interview

Interviewer: Good morning miss Lusi. I'm Alex, the head recruiter of PT. MNC group. Can you
tell me about yourself?

Applicant: Good morning sir. My name is Lusi, and I am 25 years old. I graduated from AKSEK /
LPK TARAKANITA, Secretary Academy, UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA, Management. Now I work at PT.
INDONUSA TELEMEDIA / TRANSVISION – Pay TV service as Personal Assistant to Marketing and
Sales Director since November 2013. My duties are organized professional and personal
calendars, supplied reminders of upcoming meetings and events, handled office and personal
billing / payment, organized professional and personal calendars, supplied reminders of
upcoming meetings and events, handled travel arrangement and accommodations, organized
company events and meetings, work closely with departments to update director the process
of preparation such as events, project, handled incoming and outgoing correspondence,
including mail and email, administration work (taxes, expenses such as travel reimbursement,
health, petty cash and operational), monitoring activities of the social media owned by the
director, support GA function, monitor and direct the work of floor security and office boys, and
other personal matters based on needs.

Interviewer: How did you know about this job vacancy?

Applicant: I know about this job opening through the company’s career website. I often search
for job vacancies on various websites and happened to come across this vacancy that matched
my qualifications.

Interviewer: How familiar are you with the job position you have applied for?

Applicant: Based on my experiences, Secretary is responsible for organizes work by reading and
routing correspondence, collecting information, and initiating telecommunications. Manages
department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel and arranging
meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

Interviewer: What do you know about this company?


Applicant: This company is a fast-growing startup that focuses on edu-tech. This startup has
many products, such as English Academy, ruangbelajar, Brain Academy, and so on. Since its
establishment, this company has gained several achievements, and awards.

Interviewer: What motivated you to apply for this job?

Applicant: I see this opportunity as a way to contribute to a fast-moving company and I feel I
can do it with my skill and knowledge.

Interviewer: Why should we hire you?

Applicant: I able to liaise confidentiality with senior management, performed well in high
demand and able to work on my own initiative and to tight deadlines.

Interviewer: What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?

Applicant: In my free time, I enjoy taking a break from the world by just lounging on my bed
and watching Netflix. It’s a great way for me to unwind and recharge after a long day or week. I
usually watch a mix of different genres, from comedy to drama to documentaries.

Interviewer: Can you describe a time when you felt fulfilled at work?

Applicant: I feel the most satisfied at work when I am able to complete a challenging task or
project that I have been working on for a long time. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment to
see my hard work come to fruition. Additionally, when my work contributes to the overall
success of the company, I feel a sense of pride and satisfaction.

Interviewer: What is your greatest achievement in life?

Applicant: My greatest achievement in life so far has been completing my master’s degree
while working full-time. It was a challenging journey, but I was able to balance my work and
studies and graduate with distinction. I am proud of my accomplishment and believe it has
opened up new opportunities for me in my career.

Interviewer: What skills do you possess that are relevant to this position?
Applicant: As an experienced secretary, I As an experienced social media specialist, I possess
strong skills in performed well in high demand and able to work on my own initiative and to
tight deadlines.
