NARRATIVE REPORT on SMEA


(First Quarter)
S.Y. 2023-2024
R.A. 9155 clearly defines shared governance as the management model in the
delivery of quality basic education. It specifies the functional areas to be shared by the
various levels of management as well as their differentiated roles. The evolving roles of the
schools are consistent with the national educational policies, plans and standards. The
conduct of SMEA is mandated at all levels to provide objective information that can help
and inform decision-making for the continuously improving the Organizational
Performance for efficient and effective fulfillment of the division mandate, and the Delivery
of education services to achieve the desired output and sustainability of Education
outcomes.

Pitalo Elementary School conducted the First Quarter SMEA conference spearheaded
by our very own enthusiastic School Principal, Doctor Florinda M. Soronio last January 4,
2024 @ 3:00 in the afternoon. The conference was attended by our School PTA Officers,
Barangay Captain, Barangay Committee on Education, Faculty Officers, Grade Leader
Teachers, School M & E Coordinator and our very own school principal. The program
started with an opening prayer and followed by the singing of the national anthem
through multimedia. Then Mrs. Ma. Judith P. Agudo did the rollcall of the participants, and
it was then followed by Doctor Florinda M. Soronio for the Opening Remark.

The School M & E Coordinator presented the purpose/objectives of having SMEA


conference. Then Doctor Soronio presented the main agenda of the conference which was
about SMEA. She then presented all the possible data, issues and concerns of the school,
the status of school’s enrolment, School MPS and etc. After the presentation Mrs. Vina Elsie
Procianos, our Education Committee Barangay Official, Mrs. Joy D. Villaflor, our School
Faculty President and Mrs. Rhea Ramirez, our PTA president gave their responses on the
issues and concerns. Lastly Mrs. Acelina C. Sabayton, our Master Teacher 1 and PTA
Secretary delivered her closing remark.

Through the support of our PTA officials, stakeholders, teachers and parents, the
conference was a success.
