Operation Instructions

03-1 Basic Functions

Function Operation

Switch on Hold down the Power button for three seconds.

Hold down the Power button for three seconds when the

Print history Press the Power button once when the device is on.

Print a test page Double-press the Power button when the device is on.

03-2 Fitting Paper

Open Slide

1 Press the Open Slide on the left to open the paper

compartment.

Print Side

Fit the label paper into the

compartment with the print
side facing down.

Tear-off Blade

Paper Compartment Baffle

2 Push the paper compartment baffle to the sides and fit

the label paper into the paper compartment with the
print side facing down.

Danger! Beware of shape blade when the paper compartment is open.

Paper Exit

3 Slide the paper compartment baffle inwards to secure

the label paper, pull the first paper out, make sure it sticks
out of the paper exit.

4 Close the paper compartment and long-press the Power

Button to turn the printer on.

Connecting and Printing

1 Open NIIMBOT app and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

2 On Home, tap Connect smart label printer. Then select

device model.
Notice: If a PIN code is required, input 0000 or 1234.

3 After connecting, tap on "Current label template" on the

Home tab to enter the label editor.

Maintenance

06-1 Charging

Make sure the product and your hands are dry; plug the USB
Type-C cable into the charging port, connect it to the power
adapter (purchased separately), and turn on the power.

When the battery is low, the indicator light will blink red.
If you continue to print with low battery, the printer will be
switched off. Please charge the battery to continue printing.

The battery needs 3.5-4 hours to be fully charged.

At least charge the battery once every 2 to 3 months to

ensure its normal function.

If the device cannot be turned on, please charge for one

hour.
For battery life reasons, printing while charging is not recommended.

06-2 Cleaning Print Head and Roller

Please clean the print head and roller if one of the following
situations occurs:
Unclear printing.

Noise during paper rolling.

Foreign objects on the print head.

Clean the print head and roller in the following procedures:

① Switch off the power of the printer;

② Slide open the paper compartment and find the print head
(refer to the picture). Wait for the print head to cool down
completely if you have recently printed;

③ Rotate the roller and use an alcohol cotton swab (should

be dry) to wipe the dust and stains off its surface;

④ Use an alcohol cotton swab (should be dry) or a print head

cleaning pen to wipe the dust or stains off the print head.

⑤ Wait for 5-10 minutes for the alcohol to fully evaporate,

and then close the paper compartment.

Notices

① Make sure the device is switched off during cleaning;

② Avoid touching the print head with hand or metal objects;

do not scratch the print head, the roller or the surface
of sensor with tools such as tweezers;

③ Do not use gasoline, acetone or other organic solvents

to clean the print head or the roller;

④ Wait until the alcohol completely evaporates before

switching on the power to continue printing;

⑤ Always keep the surface of the sensor clean.

06-3 FAQs

Q：Do I need to enable permission to obtain location

information?
A：Due to Android’s requirement, you need to enable location
to turn on the Bluetooth.

Q：What is a PIN code?

A：Based on the Android system, most default PIN codes
are ‘0000’; under special circumstances, they are ‘1234’
or 16 ‘0’s (0000000000000000).

Q：What to do if my search cannot find the printer?

A：1. Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on;
2. Restart the device or the App and then search again;
3. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone and then turn it
on again.

Q：What to do if the Bluetooth connection fails?

A：1. Restart the device or the App and then search again;

2. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone and then turn it

on again.

Q：What to do if the printing is not clear?

A：1. Make sure you are using NIIMBOT label paper;

2. Press the power button once and print one page, and
then print again;

3. Double-press the power button to print a test page,

and then send a picture of the test page to our support
team.

Q：What to do if I press “print” but no printing contents come

out and the printer gives a “click-click” noise?
A：1. Check if the label paper is fitted properly; the label paper
should stick out 0.5cm of the device;
2. Check if the label paper or the thermal transfer ribbon
is used up. Replace them if they are used up.

Q：What to do if the printing stops suddenly?

A：Address the situation as per the error notice in the App.

Q：What to do if the print offset is misaligned?

A：1. Check if the size of the label paper fits the templates in
the App.

2. Adjust the print offset via the editing function in the App.

Q：What to do if the paper doesn’t roll properly?

A：1. Check if there are label paper or foreign objects on the
sensor of the paper feeder slot;

2. Check if the size of the label paper fits the template size
in the App;

3. Check if the paper type of the setup template is correct;

4. If all above are ruled out, then it’s the malfunction of the
probe; please contact our support team.

To ensure the proper functioning of the device and your safety,
please read all the instructions and warnings in this manual
carefully before using this product.

6. The battery contains special protection circuit and device, please
do not disassemble the battery without authorization, otherwise
it may cause a short circuit or leakage. If electrolyte gets into your
eyes, flush with water immediately and seek medical help;
7. Do not expose the product and the power adapter to high
temperature or high humidity. Do not put them in water, otherwise
a short circuit may occur and the battery may heat up, smoke,
deform, damage, or even explode;
8. If smoke or smell comes from the product or the power adapter,
please unplug the power adapter immediately and avoid any burns.

1. Please use NIIMBOT label paper to prevent print quality issues

or print head damage;
2. The product comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Do not
throw it into fire or heat it. Do not charge, use or store it in a hot
place, as this may cause overheating, fire or explosion.

*Reminder

1. If you store this product for a prolonged period, please recharge

it every 3 months, otherwise it may lead to battery failure or even
leakage, and then cause damage to the product;
2. Please use this product in a normal environment; high or low
temperatures may cause issues such as lower print quality.
