CKC VISION
Christ the King College, a Catholic Franciscan Institution in Calbayog City, envisions itself as the center of the
development of human resources and of Excellence in education, with a special focus on Christian formation and the
preferential option for the poor, thereby contributing to the local, national and global progress.

CKC MISSION
Christ the King College commits to the integral formation of the students, the promotion of excellence among the

CKC INSTITUTIONAL GOALS


1. To develop skills in critical thinking and research for the extension of knowledge and solutions to problems in

A. Course Description –
- Media and Information Literacy consists of the knowledge, the attitudes, and the sum of the
skills needed to know when and what information is needed; where and how to obtain that
information; how to evaluate it critically and organize it once it is found; and how to use it in
an ethical way

B. Course Learning Outcomes

- The course introduces the learners to basic understanding of media and information as
channels of communication and tools for the development of individuals and societies. It also
aims to develop students to be creative and critical thinkers as well as responsible users and
competent producers of media and information.

H. Class Policies

 Come to class prepared to learn.  Don’t ever distract the class during lessons.
 Don't ever cheat.  Maintain good personal body hygiene.
 Always be on time.  Complete home works and assignments daily.
 Be attentive to teachers while teaching.  Wait for your turn in queues.
 No vandalism is allowed in the classroom.  Respect every one.
 Be well dressed in complete uniform.  No sleeping in the classroom unless with
 Respect your body. permission.
 Keep your classroom clean.  Actively participate in classroom activities
