 Collaborated with the Dire Dawa Governor's Office to conduct screenings for individuals affected by mental
illness living on the streets. Coordinated with a missionary center for the mentally ill to provide appropriate
treatment to those in need. Collaborated with Macedonia Helping Center for the Elderly to provide support to
homeless elderly, children, and mothers.
 Worked closely with COVID-19 patients admitted to the recovery center, providing psychoeducation, screening
for mental illness, and prescribing medication. Provided telehealth and face-to-face communication to COVID-
19 patients with mild and moderate symptoms who were quarantined at home.
 Certified and participated in a CPD training course on Mental Health Gap Action (MHGAB) organized by the
Dire Dawa Administration Health Bureau in collaboration with the Dire Dawa University CPD Center.
 Employed at Sabian General Hospital for the last two years, working in mental health OPD and Sabian
Substance Rehabilitation.
 Certified in employability skills and entrepreneurship as a career option organized by the Career Development
Service Directorate and Haramaya University.
 Earned a certificate for completing the compilation of a basic level public health emergency management
training for graduate class of health and medical science students. Organized by the Ethiopian Public Health
