In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "The future depends on what we do in present." With this belief, the BHISN-MUN
2024 serves as a cornerstone in our efforts to empower young minds. It is my distinct pleasure to invite you to the
IXth edition of the BHISN-MUN 2024, a forum where aspiring leaders can cultivate critical 21st-century competencies
of immersive learning, critical thinking, deeper understanding of global affairs and opportunity for leadership
development.

This platform empowers youth to enhance their diplomatic capabilities, experience international relations and
contribute meaningfully to global peace and cooperation. BHIS Noida, being a school with a thought, we are
dedicated to fostering intellectual and literary pursuits that transcend beyond traditional classroom learning,
encouraging an in-depth understanding of international politics and policy-making.

Through BHISN-MUN 2024, the event presents a unique opportunity for young leaders to develop and showcase their
diplomatic and negotiation skills. By addressing pressing global challenges, participants will acquire the essential
tools for future leadership roles.

Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors, and Esteemed Guests,
It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 2024 session of the BHISN-MUN,
hosted here at Billabong High International School, Noida. As the Secretary General of this year’s
conference, I am honoured to lead an event that promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for
all participants.
Over the course of these two days, you will engage in rigorous debates, craft innovative resolutions, and
collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. This is an unparalleled opportunity to hone your diplomatic
skills, deepen your understanding of global issues, and forge lasting friendships.
The success of this conference is built upon the dedication and hard work of many individuals. I extend my
heartfelt gratitude to the members of the Secretariat, the Chairs, and the volunteer staff, whose tireless
efforts have brought this event to fruition. I also wish to thank our advisors and teachers for their
unwavering support and guidance.
As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to seize the opportunities presented by this
conference. Be attentive in the panel discussions, participate actively in committee sessions, and make
connections that will extend beyond these conference days. Let us all strive to embody the principles of

Greetings from Billabong High International School, Noida!
Billabong High International School, Noida was created in the year 2007 to create an educational system of learning that brings out the human excellence in every child.
At BHIS Noida, we strive towards self- awareness curiosity building, passion, perseverance besides inculcating values like integrity, fortitude, dedication and respecting
diversity. The school also aims at mobilising and empowering the young learners to be the flagbearers of change, dissolve boundaries and create a better society.
Keeping in sync with NEP 2020, it is imperative to develop and nurture 21st century skills among our young learners and broaden their perspective so that they recognise
their role and contribution as a world citizen, in the making of an interconnected, equitable, harmonious and united world. It is with this conviction that we at BHIS
Noida, aim at fostering leadership, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, empathy, decision- making and solution based approach in young learners and future
global citizens.
Taking our vision ahead, Billabong High International School, Noida in collaboration with India's International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N) shall host the
student led MUN conference – BHISN-MUN 2024 on 19th and 20th July, 2024.
The conference will be hosted in collaboration with the mentors from India's International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N), the winners of 26 consecutive
prestigious ‘Outstanding Delegation Award’ at the National Model United Nations Conference, New York, the world’s oldest Model United Nations Conference, with a 95-
year old legacy. I.I.M.U.N. is the world’s largest youth-run organisation that aims to bring the world closer, the Indian way.

Each committee will have a maximum of 8 delegates from BHIS.
The last date of registration is 9th July 2024.
