I) Briefly describe any 2 disadvantages of interface Metaphors as used in HCI [2 Marks]
II) Briefly describe the concept of Distributed Cognition as used in Interaction Design [2 Marks]
III) Differentiate between effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction by giving examples of each from your
experiences with software interfaces [3 Marks]
IV) Briefly describe any 2 limitations of using human processor models in building Interactive systems

V) Write short notes on any two Evaluation Techniques used in Interaction Design [2 Marks]
VI) Briefly describe any two benefits of involving users in the process of Interactive system design

VII) When building interactive products, it is important to understand users and their cognitive processes.

(iii) You have been recruited as User Experience consultant for Ramos Inc. and tasked to develop a Web
based ticketing system. Discuss how you would use the DECIDE Framework to plan its evaluation (Hint: A
mark will be given for the explanation as well as giving an example) [10 Marks]
