Greetings from Akshara Vaagdevi International School!
Akshara Vaagdevi International School has always focused on providing quality education. The
National Education Policy 2020 Education Policy lays particular emphasis on the development of
the creative potential of each individual. It is based on the principle that education must develop
not only cognitive capacities - both the ‘foundational capacities ’of literacy and numeracy and
‘higher-order’ cognitive capacities, such as critical thinking and problem-solving – but also social,
ethical, and emotional capacities and dispositions.
Keeping this in mind, AVIS encourages students to participate in different Olympiads and
extracurricular activities so that they gain additional knowledge and early exposure to competition
and learning which also helps them to learn things in a confident manner. Appearing in Olympiad
exams from a young age helps in sharpening the mind.
We are pleased to announce the commencement of the National Astronomy and Science
Olympiad (NASO) for the academic year 2024-2025. We invite all the students from Grades II to
X to participate in this prestigious Olympiad that aims to foster scientific curiosity and innovation
among students.

· Examination Date: September 21, 2024
· Examination Mode: Online/Offline (Choose as applicable)
· Levels: Level 1 & Level 2

necessary materials to their email ID.
