for customer interactions, leaving patrons with amemorable experience.
Working in the bar area required seamless teamwork and collaboration. The

However, with guidance from my mentors and the support of the team, I

CHAPTER IV
EXPERIENCES IN THE DURATION OF TRAINING
At the Century21 Hotel in Quezon Street, Barangay Sampaguita,
Iloilo City,I Began my on-the-job training My everyday routine has
altered into something Uncharacteristic for me; Far from being a
student. I get myself ready for the long day ahead and start my
OJT.I was apprehensive about working on a hotel. In contrast to me,I
know that other students had prior work experience(part-timejobs).I
don't know what kind of work is waiting for me there.
1st week
My first week started as I was assigned to the housekeeping
department on the 1st to 5th floor. I arrived at the hotrl and was
warmly welcomed by the housekeeping supervisor. Received an
overview of the department’s responsibilies, standards, and safety
protocols. I familiarize myself with the layout of the hotel. I
observe room cleaning procedures. I learned about proper bed
making, bathroom sanitation and replenishing amenities. Assisted in
cleaning guestrooms under supervision, practiced making beds and
organizing guest supplies, and began to understand the importance
of attention to detail.
2nd week
I assigned in the front office department (FO)with Ma’am Ira
Historia she teach me for my first day on front office how to deal
the guests and the roomrates and also how to book a room
reservations , I am also thankful to sir Jeremy G. Cardinal our
Hotel Supervisor and Ma’am Dorothy Ann C. Apostol the Hotel Manager
who was with me during on my duty in front office. I am very
thankful to have them because I learned a lot in Front Office
Department.Front office experience typically involves managing the
initial interactions with clients or customers in a business or
organization.it is important to be friendly, knowledgeable,
confident, emphatetic and a problem solver. I learned many things
such as greetings visitors, handling commuunications, scheduling,
Administrative tasks, and customer service,I also experienced
ILOILO STATE UNIVERSITY OF FISHERIES SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
DUMANGAS CAMPUS
College of Hospitality Management
receiving an outside call for their reservations,I’ve spent the the
whole weekdoing with the same task.

3rd Week
As on my third week,I was assigned to the bar department for 3 days
and 4days back to front office. I experience customer service which is
taking orders and providing recommendations on drinks and other kinds of
customer needs, cleanlines and maintenance ensuring the bar area is clean,
organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. I also
experience Greting and welcoming the customer before they enter on the bar
area. I also experience serving coffee and drinks to customer. And for 4
days back to front office I was requested by our supervisor sir Jeremy G.
Cardinal to duty for 1:30 to 10:00 pm because I was the one who know how
to receive a check in and check out and also have knowledge how to handle
the guests requests and guests reservations.
4th Week
In my last week, I was assigned back to the housekeeping
department on the fourth floor. And our room attendant for that
week is sir Jey Ar .I’ve assisted in handling guest requests, such
as extra pillows and room supplies, ensuring prompt and courteous
service.I’ve observed the housekeeping supervisor dealing with
guest complaints and learned the importance of maintaining a calm
and understanding demeanor. I even conducted a room inspection with
the room attendant to identify any deficiencies and understand the
quality assurance process Adapting to the high-energy environment
taught me to remain composed underpressure and prioritize tasks
effectively. One of the most valuable aspects of my OJT was
experiencing the spirit of teamwork and support among the bar
staff. They collaboratively ensured that operations ran smoothly,
assisting each other during busy periods. I quickly realized that a
cohesive team is the backbone of any successful bar.

CHAPTER V
OBSERVATION AND IMPRESSION REPORT
OBSERVATION
I learn a lot about the distinctions between on-board job
and land-based workin The Century21 Hotel. All of the
trainers there give it their all to pass onto us some lessons
that will aid us for our future. The crew at the Century21
Hotel is focused on their respective tasks but always smiles
as they welcome visitors. The Century21 Hotel makes every
effort to ensure that its guest enjoy their stay and depart
with a smile on their face and good comments.
My on-the job training experience at the Century21 Hotel
made it simple for me to learn lessons and gain knowledge
because it involved hands-on training that greatly aided in
my academic work. I also increased myself-confidence, which
will be helpful when I apply for jobs in the future
IMPRESSION
My perspective on life has changed as a third-year student, and
we have Assimilated a lot of teachings that motivate us to complete
our college education. I was so impressed by how professionally
they handled all the students; they are all kind, gracious, and
well-respected people. We are actually grateful that our school
provides this kind of opportunity. Inaddition, I want to express my
gratitude to the faculty members who assisted in pursuing the
internship at the Century21 Hotel Without the support of Ma'am
Michelle Pahayculay,Ma'am Rachiele Beneth C.Baga-an, and all of the
faculties, this internship won’t be successful. It was a great honor
to participate in the Century21 Hotel's "INTERSHIP"Program as a
trainee. I'm impressed with the Century21 Hotel's efforts to ensure
that guests had a warm welcome before their arrival, that guests
always receive a smile from the frontdesk, and that guests are
always given a warm greeting. This Hotel, in my opinion, is one of
the greatest training for hands-on training. I learned a lot of new
skills and knowledge from it that I can put to use as I work
toward success
