Weekly Log: 03/22/2022 – 03/25/2022

Day 1: March 22, 2022

Today is the first day of our deployment. Our intern

supervisor disseminate us in our respective areas together with
other majors. After a short while, we have finally met our
cooperative teachers. They were so good and accommodating.

Before my teacher gave me a task, she first gave me an idea

of what things to do, and introduced me the MELCS or the Most
Essential Learning Competency. She then told me to prepare for
the coming days for I am going to deal with her students in
online class and a few in actual classes. As I was listening to
her, I felt like pressured.

So glad that I was given an opportunity to handle a high

class students in this school which are the STE and SPA students.
After we have gone so far in our discussion, she handed me the
key so that I can be able to enter the room whenever she is not
still around.

Day 2: March 23, 2022

Today is a kind of hectic day. I went to the school early

since I have a spear key of the classroom. I started to clean up
and do my task as a student—doing my school works. As my
cooperative teacher arrive, she then introduce to me the MELCs or
the Most Essential Learning Competencies in which I am going to
make a contextualization matrix from 1st grading to 4th. It is
quite hard and challenging but as I go deeper of it, I was able
to manage and impart my ideas on how to contextualize and
localized the context.

I am so lucky to unexpectedly met one of the highest

position in DepEd-Sagay City Division which is Sir Roger Rochar,
PhD. whereas he was able to check my output and give me some hint
of ideas. He then changed one sentence in my competencies and it
made my day for he was able to share his knowledge with me
personally.

I finished my task in the afternoon and I still have a time

to do some things so my cooperative teacher gave me another task
which was to sort the modules. After doing everything, we left
the classroom as I was told by my cooperative teacher to go home
early.

For the upcoming days, we were planning to sort the modules

for another week of Most Essential Learning Competency
distribution. That kind of task is so easy but we’re preparing
ourselves for it since it will consume our time and effort.

Day 3: March 24, 2022

Today, I went early at our school. Since I was the first one
to arrive, I cleaned-up our classroom and prepared the modules
for the students or a parents to claim their envelops. After
that, I separate the documents of the students including their
ID’s and vaccination cards to make it organize. I didn’t stop
myself from working until my cooperative teacher arrive and gave
me another task which is to check the summative and the output of
our students.

Nothing is challenging in my task since it is easy to do. I

listened to what my cooperative teacher instructed me and that
what makes me do things so easily. My most satisfying achievement
is that the parent of our students trusted me and some are
interacting with me before they left the classroom and so I also
bind another rapport to them.

The next day, the same task awaits for me. Even though I
only have the same task, I was still preparing myself for the
unexpected assignments. My cooperative teacher didn’t pressured
me or even she didn’t left me unattended to everything.

Day 4: March 25, 2022

Today, I still do the same things as yesterday. After doing

everything, my cooperative teacher informed me that she will
not be around since she has some responsibilities to process
at the DepEd Division’s Office.

My experience throughout this day is that even though I have

the same tasks, it made me still busy since I was the only one
who is assisting the students and parent to claim their
envelopes. Luckily, one parent stop by for a while and have
some talking with me and so I didn’t feel like alone anymore.

For the upcoming days, my cooperative teacher assigned

me to prepare a TOS and a summative test for the students but
she will give me the pointer next week so that I can be guided
while making their written test.
