DISCUSSION:
The meeting was called to order at 1:45 PM, by the class adviser of Grade 9 - Macadamia for
the School Year 2023- 2024, Ms. Anna May H. Buitizon. The class adviser acted as the presiding
officer of the meeting and started a brief introduction and greeting to the parents and guardians. Then
was followed by an opening prayer led by one of the students in the class, Johannes Philip L. Chua.
After which, the class adviser presented all the agenda to be discussed.
First of it was the discussion of the overview of the SPTVE Curriculum the school is
offering as a vocational school and its importance why it is being offered, then the overview of the
MATATAG Curriculum to be implemented next school year to all public schools.
This was proceeded by informing the parents/guardians of the class program and
introducing the subject teachers handling each of the subjects the Grade 9 students is taking this
school year. Next to this, was a further explanation about the grading system and the awards and
recognition they will get every end of the quarter and at the end of the school year. See table at the
next page:
Furthermore, the third agenda that was tackled was the school code of conduct which is still
under revision and for approval. Only the significant information was given. One of the parents,
suggested that subject-teachers should inform also the parents/guardians well through the FB
Messenger group chat about the submission date of any home work and activities so that they can
remind their kids as. Another one suggestion, with regards to the school ID, it is much better to issue
PVC IDs to the students rather than the laminated one so that it would last long and will not be easily
torn apart, the admin office may use the school MOOE for reproduction of it, and if the funds will be
insufficient the parents/guardians will contribute for the remaining amount to be paid.
The election the HPTA Officers of Grade 9 - Macadamia for the School Year 2023 – 2024
