Electronics Corporation of India Limited is a leading Schedule-A Public Sector Enterprise (under
Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India) engaged in the area of Strategic Electronics with thrust
on innovation & indigenization. ECIL operates in strategic sectors like Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace,
Information Technology, Telecom, Network & Homeland Security, CBRN and e-Governance. ECIL
pioneered a number of products and technologies include Solid State Television, Digital Computer,
Cockpit Voice Recorders, Electronic Voting Machines, Programmable Logic Controllers, Earth Station
and Deep Space Network Antennas. It has close collaboration with national R&D laboratories as well
as Academic Institutes and has been involved in the projects of national importance.
Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented
personnel for various posts purely on fixed tenure contract basis, for an initial period of One year
(extendable up to four years including the initial term, depending on project requirements &
satisfactory performance of the candidate) to work for various Business Verticals across the country.

I. POSTS’ SPECIFICATION: Please refer Annexure-I

II. EMOLUMENTS:
The incumbent for ‘Project Engineer on Contract’ post is eligible to a consolidated amount of ₹
40,000/month for 1st year, ₹ 45,000/month for 2nd year, ₹ 50,000/month for 3rd year & ₹ 55,000/month
for 4th year along with a lump sum amount of ₹ 12,000 (₹ 3,600 towards Medical Insurance upon
submission of proof & remaining balance as one time attire allowances after completion of 6 months).
For ‘Technical Officer on Contract’ post, a consolidated amount of ₹ 25,000/month for 1st year, ₹
28,000/month for 2nd year, ₹ 31,000/month for 3rd & 4th year;
For ‘Junior Technician on Contract (Grade-II)’ post, a consolidated amount of ₹ 22,528/month for 1st
year, ₹ 24,780/month for 2nd year, ₹ 27,258 for 3rd & 4th years;
For ‘Junior Technician on Contract’ post, a consolidated amount of ₹ 22,412/month;
Alongside the mentioned consolidated amount, the selected candidate will be eligible for other
benefits such as Reimbursement of premium paid towards Medical Insurance, Company PF, TA/DA
(while on official duty) & Paid Leave as per extant rules.

III. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:

Reservations & Relaxations for EWS/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/PwD/Ex. SM will be as per Presidential directives.
Age Relaxation: 3 yrs. for OBC, 5 yrs. for SC/ST; Candidates belonging to PwBD category (with minimum
40% or more disability) will get 10 more yrs. relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the
categories mentioned above. Further, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 yrs. for candidates who had
ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

IV. HOW TO APPLY:
a) Eligible candidates have to apply on-line by visiting our website “www.ecil.co.in” (Main Page >
Careers > Current Job Openings). The on-line application process will be operational from
29/07/2024 (16.00 hrs.) to 08/08/2024 (14.00 hrs.).
b) Candidate should furnish actual information/data while filling on-line application form and must
produce the supporting document during verification (personal, academic & professional
credentials). If the candidate fails to do so, the candidature shall be rejected at any stage of
recruitment process.
c) After applying on-line & successful registration, candidate is required to take print of registered
on-line application form and retain for future reference without fail. Candidate can take re-print
of his/her registered on-line application form before the last date for on-line registration.
Note: Please mention preferred ‘Place of posting’ in ‘Written Test Centre’ column while furnishing the
details in on-line application.

V. SELECTION METHOD:
a) After successful submission of on-line application, candidates will be shortlisted and called for
Document Verification followed by Personal Interview at 1:4 ratios, based on the merit i.e.
criteria A & B mentioned in the following table. Further, final recommendations will be made
based on the merit by arriving a total score pertains to criteria A, B & C.

b) Experience from Academic Institutions/Colleges/Internship/Project work shall not be considered

and the same will be excluded (at any stage) for the purpose of calculation of Post-Qualification
experience.
c) In view of the requirement, selected candidates shall be required to join ECIL immediately after
declaration of the results. As such, candidates are advised to come prepared to join immediately
in case they are shortlisted.

VI. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a) Candidate should be obtained at least 60% in BE/B.Tech for PE(C) & TO(C) posts and should pass
two years ITI program for JT-C (II) & JT(C) posts. Upper age limit is 33 yrs. for PE(C) posts, 30 yrs.
for TO(C), JT-C (II) & JT(C) posts.

b) Cut-off date for calculation of age & post-qualification experience (and wherever applicable) is as
on 08/08/2024.

c) Candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he / she has fulfilled
the eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

d) Candidates should ready to work anywhere in India as per the need / organization requirements.

e) It is mandatory for the candidates who are already working with any of the units of Electronics
Corporation of India Limited (on rolls) to finish at least 2 years of service as on cut-off date i.e.
08/08/2024 and to obtain a letter from the respective Reporting Officer seeking permission to
attend the selection process and need to submit the letter at the time of document verification.

f) Company reserves the right to alter the no. of posts or cancel the whole process of recruitment
without assigning any reason.

g) All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University/Institution recognized by

appropriate Statutory Authority.

h) Decision of ECIL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, place of posting, stages at
which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualifications and other eligibility norms will
be final and binding on the candidate.

i) The application is liable for rejection at any stage of recruitment process in case of suppression of
facts/furnishing of false information.

j) Any Legal proceeding in respect of any matter / claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement
and / or any application in response thereto can be instituted only limited to Courts at GHMC
(Kapra Circle) alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

k) Canvassing in any form will result in immediate rejection of application.

l) Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
