Pesach Hebrew Word Find

By Rabbi Dani Isaacs
Grade Level: Elementary-Middle School

Description:
A 25-word Word Find in Hebrew comprised of the Simanei Haseder and other
words related to Pesach, which serves as a fun review about Pesach concepts.
There is a student copy as well as an answer key.

Goals/Objectives:
Students will locate and select the Pesach related word in the word find to review
information.

Instructions:
1. Hand out the sheet and have students fill it in.
2. Words can go in all directions.

Variations:
• It is possible to swap clues for the words; for example, erase the word
"Mei Melach" and replace it with "reminds us of tears," or instead of
"Urchatz" put in "we don’t say a bracha." This makes it more difficult;
when they find a word, they need to associate it to a clue.
• It is also possible to ask them to write their own clues for each word.
• I like to give this as "over-the-break" (or weekend) optional (for a prize)
work. It can also be a reward to students who finish other things early; this
kind of sheet can be done in small increments.
