School Fees
KCIS uses a fixed number of weeks per term so as to divide the school
calendar into equal teaching periods. These terms are either 12 or 13
weeks each and do not run exactly as per the traditional international
school calendar, but school holidays are inline with the international
school calendar.

Lunch is prepared and cooked fresh each day on the school premises. We offer an
international menu providing a wide variety of nutritious and balanced meals on a
three week rotation.

Every unit, KCIS conducts field trips to support students learning to places relevant
to their current topic.

Before and After School Care
Morning Care Available from 7am when classes are not in
$50
(optional) bubbles.
Afternoon Care Available until 4.30pm when classes are
$50
(optional) not in bubbles.
Morning Care: Teachers begin morning playground duty from 7.40am. If you plan
to drop your child earlier than 7.40am the school need to be aware of this to ensure
we maintain our high standards of child supervision. There is a one-off fee of $50
per child per term to use this service. This service is available from 7am onwards.
After School Care: Students are expected to be collected from school within 15
minutes of the end of their lessons or club. Students collected later than this will be
placed into After Care. There is a one-off fee of $50 per child per term or an
individual fee of UGX10,000 per After Care session. Siblings may stay without extra
charge until their sibling has completed school or their club.
A charge of UGX 10,000 per ten minutes is charged for any child picked up after the
close of school.
Discounts
Sibling Discount: Where applicable, a 5% Sibling Discount is applied to the
younger sibling tuition fees or the lower of the two fees. Sibling discount does not
apply to annual fee payments which are already discounted. Not valid with any
other discount.
Annual Discount: 10% discount is applied to fees when enrolling or for current
students when paying for a full year academic year ahead prior to 1st June. Annual
discount only applies to fees.
