5
Procedure Protocol:

1.2. Before starting up the machine:

● Check that the safety devices are working.

● Make sure that the transfers of the containers onto the adjacent hinge chains are
carried out properly.
● Check that the side conveying guides installed on the conveyor belts are adjusted
correctly in relation to the containers to be processed.
● Check on the pressure gauge that the compressed air pressure is sufficient.
● Check that all the parts requiring lubrication are lubricated.
● Check that there are no tools, components of the machine free, or other objects on
the machine.

1.3. Make new Format

● The easiest way is to copy an existing recipe and edit it.

● enter "set up".
● choose the height in "offset machine level" it is advisable to put 3 or 4 mm more than
the height of the jug.
● press save.
● In "pusher" you can change the speed or the "near layer".
● In "front bar" you can change "near layer" if the pallet is different and requires more
or less compacting.
● In "outfeed motors" you can change the speed, "synchro" when all the machines
work and "synchro 2" when only the depalletizer works.

1.4. Format change:

● Make sure that the line and depalletizer are completely empty, must be stopped and
with no alarms.
● Access the “MAIN MENU” page via the Touch Screen panel. [1].
● Enter “RECIPES” [2].

● Start the production cycle by pressing and holding the "START" illuminated button
[14] for approx. two seconds. After two seconds, the light in the "START" button
lights up and the machine starts.

● Stop the supply of containers at the machine head, and completely empty the
machine at the end of production.
● Stop the line using the appropriate functions on the control panel.
● Turn off the machine power supply by setting the master switch to 0 [9].
● Thoroughly clean the machine following the instructions in chapter 5 of the manual.

2.5. Sensors:

● Entry photocell: If it does not detect any jars, it stops the blowers and the tapes that
grab the jars to save energy. When a jar is detected again, they start up again.
● Exit photocell: if it detects many jugs, it stops the grippers for safety. when it is
released they start up again.
● Middle photocell: if the exit photocell does not work and the jars accumulate, they fall
to the side platform and this sensor, detecting it, stops the machine for safety.

2.6. Change format:

● To change the format of the jars you only have to enter the new diameter in the
recipe and the grippers adjust automatically when changing the recipe.
● If the jugs are very tall, the height of the blowers must be manually adjusted. They
are adjusted by raising or lowering the level of the bars on the sides of the machine.

2.7. Alarms:

● High pressure/ dirty filter: If the filter is dirty, it is more difficult for the machine to take
in air and the pressure increases. When this is detected, the alarm sounds and the
machine stops. It is solved by cleaning or changing the filter.
● Wrong position: This alarm sounds when it detects that the diameter of the grippers
is different from that of the recipe.
● When many jars accumulate at the outlet of the grippers, jars can fall into a side tray
of the machine [60]. When this happens, a sensor detects these jugs and an alarm is
activated, which stops the machine as well as warning.
