I am pleased to inform you that DPS Bareilly is organizing the 8th Interschool Swimming Championship
on the 29th and 30th of August, 2024, to celebrate National Sports Day. This championship aims to
promote sportsmanship, healthy competition, and camaraderie among students from various schools.
We would be honored to have your esteemed institution participate in this event. The championship
will feature various swimming categories, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly,
for different age groups. Medals and certificates will be awarded to the winners and participants to
acknowledge their hard work and dedication.
We kindly request you to confirm your participation by 15th August to facilitate smooth organization.
The details of the swimming championship are given below
Date of Championship: 28th and 29th August 2024.
Venue: Delhi Public School Bareilly Campus.
Timing: 09:30 a.m sharp

GENERAL RULES:-
Note :- Separate Swimming Championship Trophy boys & girls category
A swimmer shall be allowed to participate in maximum 3 individual events only events
excluding relays. Every school will be entitled to enter only one competitor for boys and 2
competitors for girls in each of the given events, from their respective age group.
Schools/colleges are advised to send their Team with Team Manager/Coach.
I.D & Age Certificate of the participant should be duly verified by the Head of the institution.
Swimmers must participate with proper swimming kit only.
Entry must be filled on enclosed prescribed form in CAPITAL LETTERS in English.
All the grievances will be settled by the Grievances Committee and their decision will be final.
Grievances may be logged on with submission of a fee of 2000/- only.
The Team Championship will be decided separately for boys and girls categories. The points shall be
awarded to the teams according to the point system as adopted by CBSE.
