Greetings!
Congratulations for commencing your journey with Digital Logbooks. The application is now successfully
installed and is ready to use.
Digital Logbooks unifies all record-keeping on board and makes compliance reporting easier by reducing the
admin burden on board. The software has been built to IMO Guidelines/Standards for electronic logs and has
been certified by Lloyds Register.
The current version of the software has the following electronic logs:

Please ensure that the contents are downloaded, saved onboard, documented, and available to all users.
To get started, you would need to do the following:
1. Open the browser on any computer on the vessel’s network. (We recommend using Google Chrome and
Microsoft Edge browsers. Please do not use Mozilla Firefox)

(If you are not able to access the software on any of the computers in the network, then please do get
back with a screenshot of the error and we will get in touch with your IT Team to make necessary
configuration changes.) Upon first access, the software will ask for an Activation key.

4. Kindly share the client ID with the support team (greenlogs@[Link] ) for the activation of the
software.
5. Enter the credentials mentioned below for accessing the software.
The default passwords that have been configured are:-
For the master (username/password) mst/1234
For the chief engineer ce/1234
For the Chief officer co/1234
For 3rd engineer/incharge 3e/1234
Deck Officer de/1234
For vessel admin vadmin/1234
For the first week, we would expect you complete the following activities:
Accessing the software using default passwords
Check access to various logs as per your role onboard
Once access is confirmed, a detailed plan and checklists will be shared to guide you through the familiarization
process.
Should you face any issues with ship-specific information such as names of the tanks, or the activities that are
allowed, please come back to us giving details and screenshots wherever changes are required.
