Activity Name and Description
Movie Review
Description- In this activity students will evaluate a movie. Movie pool is selected after critical
examining the content and the hidden message the director wants to share. This activity will help
the students understand the perception of others and how this can impact the decision-making.
All movies carry certificates according to their regulatory frameworks. Jaipuria is not responsible
for any content or claims made in them
Goal of the activity- Main Goal of the activity is to build on critical thinking, analytical skills,
communication skills and more in a student. Movie review will also help the students to understand the
personality of a character and this is a very important trait of a leader.
1- Steps to complete the activity
1. LT teams to be used for this activity
2. Activity will start from the first week of the term
3. Week Wise distribution/ process flow of the activity
● Week 1 - General Briefing to the Students.
● Week 1 till Week 2 – Work time for the students on the Movie
● Week -3 Section / Team wise presentation of the topic. Ten learnings from each
movie supported by a dialogues. Each member to explain two learnings in two min

Guidelines:
1) Each team will select a movie as per their LT number. LT-1 will watch Astral City,
LT will watch – In pursuit of happiness and so on.
2) Additionally each member will also suggest a movie of their choice to other team
member and will try to convince other team members to watch the same. After
discussion on utility of movie, the team will finally zero down to one more movie
suggested by their team member.
3) The team will watch both movies and will present their learning in classroom.
4) First slide should present movies suggested by team members and logic for selecting
one movie from same
5) Total 12 learning to be presented 02 by each team member, 08 from movie assigned
by us and 04 from movie of their choice
6) Each team will be assigned 10 minutes for presentation. No extension is permitted
7) The presentation should contain images of movies scenes being discussed or learning.
8) The sequence of who will present from team will be decided on spot.
9) Each member will be given as opportunity to speak for 90 seconds only.
