METHOD STATEMENT FOR CATWALK INSTALLATION

1) Upon approval of shop drawings the catwalk materials as per are specification

are ordered.

2) The materials delivered are cut to size and fit to the required shapes.

3) The fabricated & galvanized materials are delivered to site in standard size.

4) Unload and hoist the materials through the materials hoist.

5) Fix the catwalk hanger to the roof steel beam as per the approved shop drawings.

6) Hoist and install the catwalk platform in position & secure them with the

hangers.

7) Workers use staging platform to install the catwalk steel structure.

8) Install railing as per the approved drawings.

9) Adjust the turn buckle in the hanger to adjust the catwalk level.

10) Tighten all bolts & nuts and touch up the affected areas using approved cold

galvanizing paint.
