ABOUT US facilities
1. The ADMISSIONS ACADEMICS

2. The institution/ building should be located in an easily accessible area.

3. The location, building and outlook should be well suited for the purpose of higher education.

4. Properly finished and maintained exterior and interiors.

5. Parking facilities should be available in the vicinity.

Specific (Minimum Requirements)

1. . Covered area of at least 2000 Sq. ft. of usable space, excluding staircases, washrooms, lobbies, parking space etc.

2. Air-conditioned computer lab(s)

3. Dedicated Server room(s)

4. Adequate space for generator and UPS

5. Dedicated lecture viewing area

6. Student discussion room(s) with adequate furniture & white board

7. Common room(s) / waiting room(s) for female students

8. Separate washrooms for male and female students

5 Internet Connection Minimum 8-MBs for every 30 computers. Preferably CIR / Dedicated. Reliable and fast internet connection.

7 Generators
20 kVA generator is recommended for every 30 Computers, 3 Servers, Network Must support all servers, client
Switches, 1 Printer, 1 Scanner, & CCTV Camera system alongwith building load. computers, other IT equipment, A/Cs,
building load, and remain in perfect
working condition at all times.

8 UPS
10 kVA UPS is recommended for every 30 Computers, 3 Servers, Network Must support all servers, client
Switches, 1 Printer, 1 Scanner, & CCTV Camera System. computers, other IT equipment, and
remain in perfect working condition
at all times.

9 Printer
One Laser printer Must remain in perfect working
condition at all times.

10 Scanner
With resolution of 1200 dpi, 48-bit color Must remain in perfect working
condition at all times.

11 Shields
Cover for all monitors All monitors must have shield covers.

12 CCTV Camera
NVR/IP based CCTV cameras must be installed at entrance and computer lab(s) with capacity to hold at least fifteen days
recording.

13 Network Infrastructure
Gigabit network must be installed with proper termination using keystone jack (I/O). Switches must be installed in
Network cabinet. Network cables must be terminated in network cabinet using patch panel and tagged properly. Cable
manager should be used for termination from Patch Panel to Network Switch. Network cables should be in ducts.

14 Anti-Virus
Mandatory Updated Antivirus on servers and all
client computers.

15 Air Conditioners
Air Conditioners must be installed to maintain comfortable temperature in all computers labs & server room and
supported by the generator.

16 Networking Staff
Qualication: BS (CS/IT) (OR) BE (EE) (at least 2nd division) from HEC recognized University / Institution. Experience &
Skills: Must be experienced in System/Network administration. Internationally acclaimed valid Network Certification will
be preferred.
In case PVC is nominated as Exam Center, one additional server will be required.
