MACHINE ROOM NOTE:-

8. Lighting in machine room - permanent electric lighting not less than 100 lumens should be provided in machine room. 1) CONTROLLER SHOULD BE PLACED WITHIN 2 METER RADIUS FROM M/C AND
9. Machine room entrance should be provided with lighting of minimum 100 lumens with control switch at stair case lobby of top floor. SHOULD HAVE MINIMUM 1.5 METER WORKING SPACE IN FRONT OF CONTROLLER.

11. Machine room shall not be used for any purpose other than housing the elevator equipment.
12. Trap doors in machine room shall be hinged, counter balance and should be kept closed & locked, opening inside the machine room and terrace top. Attention : Non authorized people are not allowed to enter and use the elevator machine room.

13. Ventilation - the machine room shall be provided with natural cross ventional & rain protected windows or louvers with exhaust fans, All measurements are for finished masonry work, unless otherwise specified .

18. Machine room floor slab must not be cast until the slab marking for rope pocket holes is done by installation engineer.
19. Machine room walls, floor and ceiling to be treated as per IS 14665 (Part 2 /Sec 1) : 2000. and painted as per our color code.
