Test SubItem Configuration Management
Test Purpose The purpose of this test is to verify the EM provide configuration management
function.
Pre-requisites ⚫ The EM client can log in to the EM server properly.
⚫ Each container of the OMU VM is operating properly, and connects to the EM
server properly.
Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the MML Terminal window.
2. Enter the SDM_CMS node under the USPP Name > NF Node, and select Au-
thentication PLMN Template Configuration.
3. Query (SHOW ALLOWEDPLMNTPL) or modify (SET ALLOWEDPLMNTPL)
some attributes related to an authorized PLMN template.
Test Verification ⚫ The command is execute successful.
⚫ There is no error while operating.

Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the Performance window.
2. Create and activate a new performance statistics task and waits for a granu-
larity.
3. Execute data query.
Test Verification ⚫ The performance statistics data can be reported properly and the information
is correct.

Test Purpose The purpose of this test is to verify the EM provide alarm management function.
Pre-requisites ⚫ The EM client can log in to the EM server properly.

server properly.
Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the Alarm window.
2. Trigger an alarm, for example, restarting an SC or NFS.
3. Clear the alarm, for example, the SC or NFS that is waiting to be restarted op-
erates properly.
4. Observe the alarm reporting and recovering.
Test Verification ⚫ The alarm can be properly triggered and cleared.
⚫ There is no error while operating.

Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the System > Security window.
2. Create a role.
3. Create a user and associate the user with the role created in the previous
step.
4. Log in to the EM client useing the new user.
Test Verification ⚫ Log in to the EM client successfully and have proper permissions.
⚫ There is no error while operating.

Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the MML Terminal window window.
2. Select the CommonS_TMSP node under the USPP Name > NF Node and
execute the following command to query the running version:
SHOW VERSION
3. Waiting the successful response.

tion.

Test Procedure 1. Log in to the EM client and open the MML Terminal window.
2. Select USPP Name > NF Node and excute the BACKUP or RESTORE com-
mand to backup or retore the data.
Test Verification ⚫ The backup and restoration are successful, and the printed information is cor-
rect.
