Usage: Simple present tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kebiasaan, kebenaran umum, dan

### **Simple Present Tense**

#### **Pengertian:**
Simple Present Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kebiasaan, fakta umum, dan hal-hal yang
terjadi secara teratur.

#### **Rumus:**

1. **Kalimat Positif (+):**


- **Subjek + Verb 1 (kata kerja bentuk pertama)**
- Untuk subjek orang ketiga tunggal (he, she, it), tambahkan "-s" atau "-es" pada kata kerja.

**Contoh:**
- I play soccer. (Saya bermain sepak bola.)
- She plays soccer. (Dia bermain sepak bola.)

2. **Kalimat Negatif (-):**


- **Subjek + do/does + not + Verb 1**
- Gunakan "does" untuk subjek orang ketiga tunggal, dan "do" untuk subjek lainnya.

**Contoh:**
- I do not (don’t) play soccer. (Saya tidak bermain sepak bola.)
- She does not (doesn’t) play soccer. (Dia tidak bermain sepak bola.)

3. **Kalimat Tanya (?):**


- **Do/Does + Subjek + Verb 1?**
- Gunakan "does" untuk subjek orang ketiga tunggal, dan "do" untuk subjek lainnya.

**Contoh:**
- Do you play soccer? (Apakah kamu bermain sepak bola?)
- Does she play soccer? (Apakah dia bermain sepak bola?)

#### **Kata Keterangan Waktu yang Sering Digunakan:**


- Always (selalu)
- Usually (biasanya)
- Often (sering)
- Sometimes (kadang-kadang)
- Never (tidak pernah)
- Every day/week/month (setiap hari/minggu/bulan)
