NOTICE
Auditions for AIU Inter-University West-Zone & National Youth Festival, 2024-25

This is to inform all the students that Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will be organizing the West Zone Inter-
University Youth Festival, 2024-25 in the month of November-December 2024 and National Inter-University Youth
Festival, 2024-25 in January 2025. For the participation in these upcoming AIU Youth Festivals, Parul University is going to
form a team of talented students from different cultural and artistic genres. Auditions for the same will be conducted on
10th, 11th & 12th September 2024, in different categories in the Central Auditorium from 9:30 am onwards. The interested
students can register in all the mentioned categories latest by 8th September 2024, 06:00 PM.

List of Categories and Items

1. Theatre Mimicry (Voice impersonations of machines, instruments, Famous Personalities, Politicians,
(12th Sept.) Bollywood Actors and Beatboxing), Mime & Acting
2. Dance  Classical Dance (Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniattam etc.)
(11th Sept.)  Folk and Tribal (from any Indian State - Garba, Lavni, Ghoomar, Haryanvi, etc.)
3. Literary Debate (in Hindi or English language only) & Quiz
(11th Sept.)
4. Fine Arts Poster Making, On-the-Spot Painting, Clay Modelling, Mehndi, Rangoli, Cartooning, Collage
(12th Sept.) Making & Photography
5. Music  Light Vocal (Geet, Gazal, Bhajan & Sufi)
(10th Sept.)  Classical Singing - Raag-based (Any Indian Raag)
 Indian Classical Instrumental Percussion - Taal Vadya (Tabla, Mridangam, Dhol, Dholak, etc.)
 Indian Classical Instrumental Non-Percussion (Flute, Sarangi, Sitar, Harmonium etc.)
 Western Instrumental (Guitar, Piano, Keyboard, Drum, Zambe etc.)
 Western Singing (English Songs)
 Folk Orchestra (Any Folk/Traditional Instrument)
NOTE:
 For the Fine Arts category, students must bring their own materials. Only drawing sheets will be provided.
Topics will be given on the spot.
 For the Literary category, topics will be provided 24 hours before the day of audition.
 Students can register in multiple categories.
