ABOUT VESASC
Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce (VESASC) is an
Autonomous College from 2021-22 and is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The
college has been accredited with A-Grade in 2017 by NAAC (3rd Cycle). We are the proud
recipients of the PM USHA grant this year. We have been bestowed with the “Best College Award”
by University of Mumbai. We have also received a FIST grant from DST and a Star College grant
from DBT. As perceived by our founder member, Late Shri Hashu Advaniji, the College
emphasizes character building and holistic education. The ICT-enabled Infrastructure, provided
by our supportive and committed management, a dedicated team of teachers and enthusiastic
administrative staff, help us provide a conducive academic atmosphere to prepare the students to
face the world.
We recognize that research develops wider and deeper insights, thereby contributing to the
enhancement of teaching. The College, thus, gives paramount importance to research. It has
constituted a Research Circle, which has been instrumental in increasing the quantum of research
in our college.
