Significance of the Study
The success of the study will be an advantage to the Officials and Citizens of Barangay
Pinagbayanan. Information System will provide more accessibility on finding information and detailed
data. This study will enable the Officials of the Barangay Pinagbayanan to reinforce the data
gathering of their residences through software information system. The data gathered will help the
Officials of the Barangay in cooperation with Local Government Unit to help plan the development, of
what the citizens of the Barangay Pinagbayanan need in terms of medical care and financial
assistance.
Furthermore, the Information System will help the Barangay Health Workers assess the quality
of care the citizens need, in terms of healthcare and medicines. The outcome of the study would also
expand the Barangay Health Center’s information system in analyzing strategies, innovating, and
extending help to the Citizens of Barangay Pinagbayanan.
Lastly, this research will be a guide for the Barangay Officials of Pinagbayanan with
information regarding the students who are indigent. This study will also provide information on the
students who are on the list of financial support and scholarship programs.
Citizens
Finding information about an individual that is a resident in Barangay PInagbayanan
and encoded in the information System will save everyone’s time. The Information System will
provide the Citizens of Barangay Pinagbayanan with specific information on their age, gender,
period of residence, and an exact address. It will benefit the Barangay Officials to improve and
arrange the citizen’s data more efficiently. Moreover, Information System can also detect
citizens, who are involved in certain concerns and complaints. In conclusion, the system can
also recognize the voting status of citizens if they were newly registered voters, active voters,
and deactivated voters.
People with Medical Concerns
The Information System can benefit the Citizens of Barangay Pinagbayanan especially
the Senior Citizens, PWD, and people with other illnesses. Collecting and gathering the
medical history of an individual is so important, tracking and having a seamless information
system can improve the healthcare of the citizen.
Students
Data provided in the Information System is the guide for the students in terms of
scholarships and financial aid. This will help the Barangay Pinagbayanan Officials to determine
candidates who are on the list of scholarship programs, and students who are indigent and
qualified to receive the scholarships.
